    Having shot with the Hasselblad X2D with the 55mm f2 and the 90mm, I can relate how you felt. It has a very professional feel, one of smooth, slick and yet makes you feel you're in control, hence why you slow down and shoot each shot with intention. I liked what you shot as the colours were popping and the final image of the model skin tone... brilliant.

    As someone who owns a Hasselblad mirrorless system let me just say that the EVF is really detailed and sharp. With that said if you shoot at narrow apertures you can just manual focus and if your image looks sharp in the EVF your image will come out sharp.

      You have to use back-button AF so the camera doesn't refocus at every release and it becomes much much faster.
      At apertures used in studio it's nonsense to refocus each shot.
      You have only to refocus with a back button press when the model or the photographer moves.

    • @forgewire
      @forgewire Год назад +1

      @@jean-claudemuller3199 I have an eye continuous focus on my Canon. Why I should dedicate extra button for a “back button” ? For the price you paid your camera should be able to talk to the models, assist with their poses and shoot through the walls

    • @piotrlisowski2012
      @piotrlisowski2012 Год назад +1

      because in studio if there's no ambient light, flash duration is the shutter speed. Just google phrase "flash duration" and you'll get a lot of sources to learn about it

    • @jean-claudemuller3199
      @jean-claudemuller3199 Год назад +1

      Hasselblad X1D's and X2D work with a Nikon licensed i-TTL system.
      All todays TTL flashes and TTL transmitters for Nikon work on these Hasselblad cameras.
      Personally I use Nikon i-TTL flashes, Elinchrom Nikon TTL transmitter, Profoto Nikon TTL transmitter, some Profoto A1 for Nikon flashes

    Love the images you produced. Fantastic. Absolutely agree with you with the whole 4/3 aspect ratio thing. I can't stand 3/2 these days.
    As for the camera. Hmm, interesting. Hassy is obviously sending this kits out to various photographers that RUclips, and across multiple photographic genres. I wonder if they are trying to offload stock of those lenses (when the X2D was released, Hassy announced a new series of lenses).
    The Hassy is a beautiful work of art, great ergonomics. But the lower cost, more flexible focal plane shutter, and the fact that you can tether with Capture One or Lightroom, I can't help but feel the Fujifilm GFX100S is the "better" system.
    That said, I understand why historically Capture One never supported Medium Format cameras except for those made by Phase One; Phase One used to own Capture One. But since Capture One was spun off into an independent company, they've added Fujifilm medium format support. Why can't they do the same for Hassy?
