    I had the Hasselblad H1 film camera and I really like that camera a lot. The image quality and sharpness of those lenses are really amazing. The 120MM is a magnificent lens. I had that Lens, the 35Mm and 50-110MM. All super sharp lenses imho. Bottom line is that all Hasselblad cameras are pretty awesome. Would love to see more film camera videos.

    Does size matter? Absolutely! Especially when it comes to...... shooting compressed RAW vs. uncompressed RAW-the size difference is no joke! 😄 But jokes aside, I was blown away by the video. That big lens really paid off, as the results were stunning! 💖 And with Daria behind the camera, it's always a guaranteed epic shoot. 🌟
    I'd love to see some night RGB light shooting, maybe a car or music band concert style photoshoot with the film camera. The grain on film just adds that perfect touch! 🎥✨ Kudos to the whole team for an incredible job! 👏

    Very interesting comparison in action. In my opinion film camera's are not dead. I did my first steps in photography with a film camera too and I've learned so many about the basics. And of course the look of pictures can be amazing and sometimes a little bit special. That's great! Thank you so much for this experiment, like it! 👍🙏

    For many years I earned my living with a 500CM and later the 501CM shooting in Milan. When everything went digital I reluctantly switched to Canon digital and was never happy with the change in format. The 35mm format proportions just never worked for me and I was suddenly confronted by a mass of buttons with menu options that just got in the way.

    Hi Daria, I watch all your videos, also you are so beautiful. I am testing the X2D with the new 90mm lens which can sync up to 1/4000 second outside. I am using a Nikon Trigger and Nikon flash for Off Camera Flash and have a problem that I hope you can help me solve.
    Up to 1/1000 sync speed there is no problem at 1/1600 sync speed I lose about 1 stop of flash power, at 1/4000 second sync speed I lose a lot more power if it actually works at all.
    I would appreciate your advice.

    Maybe do a Hasselblad vs Fuji medium format? Also I do like the colors out of the cameraman's cameras. I don't know what camera he's doing but I also like the colors from the video. I know some fashion photographers have used RED cameras a little but its a little of a pain shooting in video and then pulling a still out of the video when every second is 30 frames.

    It's nice that you approach these cameras without any pompousness. I'm looking to buy X2D. You are one of the few people who uses this camera and not just talks about it. I'm very curious how AF in X2D works in your work? I know it's not a speed demon, but I wouldn't want to bother with it either. In one of the episodes you took street photography with it. Did anything come of it?

    • @mahdimanesh4221
      @mahdimanesh4221 Месяц назад

      Used the setup on the street with 45P. This was before the face AF and worked fine. It is no speed demon so you need to plan a bit more.

    same problem can happen with digital , cards might not save or corrupt ... or read ... any piece of equipment can fail at any time .. maybe make sure the equipment is working and you know how to use it before doing the shoots !!

    I use to shoot Bronica when I was shooting weddings on film. My boss would shoot Hasselblad. The problem shooting medium format today all the film is 120 and you only get 12 shots now. Also I would keep my jacket on all day at a wedding so I always had a film back loaded and ready to swap out.

    • @murasakistudio
      @murasakistudio 2 месяца назад

      I started with a Bronica SQ-A in the 1980s before switching to Hasselblad later on. Two backs were essential, but we sure did get fast changing those rolls on a shoot. I always felt a bit sorry for the guys shooting with the RB67 because it was just so big and clunky.

    Hey Daria, my name is Johnny and I'm a freelance logo designer, currently I'm looking for more works, do you know anyone would love to have a logo for their channel and business's branding to have a memorable graphic based monogram logo to help their audience recognise and follow their channel easier? I would love to design a photography themed logo inspired by their direction for them! Let me know if you know anyone interested to make it happen! :-)

    This is the case when the model is more professional than the photographer. She knows more about film shooting than an enthusiastic girl who has picked up a film camera for the first time. The processing is also quite deplorable. By the way, Hasselblad H has excellent portrait lenses such as 150/3.5 and 100/2.2, rather than a macro lens for shooting objects. The model is no longer the youngest and her skin is strongly emphasized by this high-contrast glass.
