Goodness gracious, friend! You are just the sweetest. I'm so glad this video found you at the perfect time. How is launch going?! I know you're killin' it!! xx. Ash
By the way, just wanted to say thank you. I have been through a DV situation, a 24week preemie with complications and 6 months in the NICU, postpartum depression and anxiety, a 34-week preemie with 2 weeks in the NICU (fewer complications), prenatal anxiety, and very bad postpartum depression and anxiety (even had to go to an outpatient center for it). With all this, I still have no self-confidence/self-esteem and I am terrified of failure and always think about what can go wrong. Thank you for giving me another perspective on failure
Hey Minnie, let me first say you are not alone-I have certainly felt similarly. I am so grateful that you have trusted me with these parts of your story-thank you so much for being open to sharing. It is so important to shine light on these things. Thankful for you! xx.Ash
@@AshlynWrites That is when my friends have convinced me to start a blog to be able to help other people and bring light to situations that most people don't talk about
Amazing tips as always! As a freelancer about to launch their first website, this is the kick-in-the-butt motivation I needed! I always worry about my brand's image when it comes to my site but your insight on building and changing it for the customer helped clear my launch worries! Thank you.
Friend, you are not alone-we have ALL been there and felt these fears! I am so happy to hear this video helped ease your launch worries...when is your launch date?! You got this!
I knew you were speaking straight to me but then you mentioned the book I just finished! Love the Freedom of Self-forgetfulness! I have referred it to a couple of friends. I keep carrying it around too. Thanks again Ashlyn🙂-Dell
I love this Ashlyn! Thank you as always for pouring your heart into every. single. video. Truly just what I needed to hear and I can't wait to see what you have on deck! Seriously just paused this video and bought Primed To Launch because I've been dying to get in! In 2020, I'm pumped to finally launch my blog, grow my email list and launch the completely reimagined TinyTracker 2.0! I've got all my dry erase markers at the ready.
This is the 2020 pep talk I needed! Thank you for the great advice Also... your gmail organization is amazing. Do you have a guide on all the folder types you have or how you’ve set up your gmail for productivity?
Kayli! You got this. Thanks for your kind words. :) And I THINK I have one somewhere on RUclips, or at least a screenshare, but I know we give it to my Art of Efficiency students. I literally make a folder for everything (any course I've taken, all my services we offer, every product I offer, all the affiliate programs we're in, finances, legal, etc.), but that's my style ... good ol' Gmail you can search so easily, but I work better if I can go into a folder and look in there!
I had to laugh at your #4, keep your eyes on your own paper. The first poem I wrote was an assignment in 5th grade class. I was saying under my breath, I can't write a poem! I looked across the aisle at my friend's paper and he had written down something including the words pollution and solution. I copied those two words from him and wrote my own poem. My poem, at age 12, ended up being printed in the small town local newspaper. (To be honest, they were asking for poems to be sent in and I submitted my own poem.) Talk about affirmation! I was suddenly in love with writing poetry! 😍
I have found your channel a couple of years ago but I was focusing on something else... I am now focusing on blogging and creating my own products (as I grow my blog). I'm just wondering how we're able to work with you? I will look again in your description but if you do find this comment and reply that would be awesome, too. Thanks :)
How is it you always speak DIRECTLY to where I am? This is awesome. Thank you. SO- this year, two biggies that scare the bejeebers out of me (who needs bejeebers anyway?) 1. FEB: Creating STRONG... a masterclass in creative resilience strategy for creative entrepreneurs ... to help students "Unlock the Core Creativity Practices You Need to Bounce Back, Break Through, & Build a Business That Thrives" . So that's big. Then later... the beta for my signature program, Illustrated Business™ helping creatives create a solid biz plan using visual journaling strategies... I'm the girl who walked into her MBA accounting class more than a decade ago and asked if she could color the books instead of balancing them. Oh little did I know. Anyway, THANK you for seriously some of richest, most consistent, encouraging content out there.
HA! Ain't nobody got time for bejeebers. Oh my gosh, the visual journaling program sounds SO fun. I love the idea of that, bc I always revert to regular journaling because I don't know what to doodle-I'm scared to mess up, which is dumb. And if there's anyone to teach resilience strategy, it's you sister. You're amazing. We love you!
@@AshlynWrites The love is ENTIRELY mutual. 🥰 I sketched my business plan for the new biz after the brain injury because I couldn't find words to write a normal one... & ironies, it became my master's thesis work. ;-)

Hi! I was looking into Gravy, did you have a link to their website? I love nerding out over analytics that I can use to inform my business decisions! Hoping to launch mentoring sessions for photographers and a facebook educational group this year!
Hey, Manali! YES-I just added it, but here's a link: www.gravyinsights.com/optin So, that's a survey they have open right now ... Casey and his team are collecting data for entrepreneurs, and they're going to send it out after. It may help you! I will say that as you grow, if you start having regular payment plans (ex. a course, or if your group turns into a membership), Gravy is something that really helped us as we got to a point where we realized we were losing about $1k/mo. in failed credit cards ... they're amazing!
Hi, I am a big fan of your content, I am currently working on a hardware networking device, it is close to be launched although I don't know how to manage warranties or how to manage returns, is there a huge process behind it?
Congratulations on your upcoming launch! Without knowing much about your industry, it's hard to say what the process will look like for you! However, after a quick Google search, I thought that this article was helpful : www.shopify.com/blog/return-policy . Hope this helps!
Hi Ashlyn! I tried the link to Gravy and it doesn't seem to be working for me. Would you mind checking the link? I'm sure the issue is on mind and your help will help me get to the bottom of this. Excited to learn about Gravy. Thank you in advance!
