    BIG HUGS FROM POLAND TO OUR HUNGARIAN BROTHERS!

  • @marcin9403
    @marcin9403 8 лет назад +28

    Polak, Węgier - dwa bratanki,
    i do szabli, i do szklanki,
    oba zuchy, oba żwawi,
    niech im Pan Bóg błogosławi.
    The full Hungarian version reads:
    Lengyel, magyar - két jó barát,
    Együtt harcol s issza borát,
    Vitéz s bátor mindkettője,
    Áldás szálljon mindkettőre.
    The Polish text may be rendered:
    Pole and Hungarian brothers be,
    good for fight and good for party.
    Both are valiant, both are lively,
    Upon them may God's blessings be.

    I remember crossing that very point by ferry.
    Our first trip to Croatia, on the way back.
    My wife and 12 yo daughter, we went just by taking trains and busses.
    The bridge was actually a railroad brige, destroyed half way.
    The whole thing was about territorial conflict.
    These regions are actually mixed nationalities.

    Hello together! Haven't been to Esztergom yet but have been also at the Danube crossing the river over a bridge a few km away from there. I have been to the Slovakian town of Komarno which is really beautiful and walking to Komarom to get a train. The bridge looks really similar. And yes of course up, THUMBS UP for cats :) GReetz from Switzerland, Dave-

    5:20 Haha I'm definitely the 3rd type. Yesterday I simply walked through Budapest's Heroes square and Városliget, but the fact that there was no way to avoid the tourist cameras annoyed the hell out of me.

    Actually you can walk, also on the bridge, to another country from Canada. To the US at the Niagra falls.

  • @wfqsfg
    @wfqsfg 8 лет назад

    8:10 yes you can. The U.S. As a matter of fact there is a town I think in Maine where the border goes right down the middle of town.

    • @FeatherandtheWind
      @FeatherandtheWind  8 лет назад +1

      But here we didn't even need our passports ;)

    • @wfqsfg
      @wfqsfg 8 лет назад

      Yeah, I wasn't thinking was I? Do you need a passport for a day trip between US and Canada?
      But I know there are border crossings stations with the Border Patrol

    • @WorldWideWong
      @WorldWideWong 8 лет назад

      I think, if you apply for it, you could use your driver's license in place of a passport. don't quote me on that, though

    • @robinnadeau8745
      @robinnadeau8745 8 лет назад +1

      I think they recently changed that. At one time you could use only driver's license to go between US & Canada. Now, you need your passport.

    Hi Guys,
    Its so great feeling see u walking, exploring places where i've been my self. I am from Slovakia. Little border-town called Sahy. I used to cycle from it to Esztergom and further to Domos which is also placed by river danube. Visegrad is also a nice small city. You should go there. There is a castle on the hill from where you can see the danude curve.
    I so adore you guys ( mostly Fel :-P ) Great editing, lovely tunes. Love you vlog a must admit.

You two are invited to my house and I will cook you some traditional dishes ;-) Aaaand...That's not true about holding hands :-D Usually everybody holds hands everywhere. And not only that!! The boulvard on the slovakian side is very popular amongst the teenagers as a kissing spot :-D I spent there loads of time kissing on public when I was younger :-D

    You are not right, as Hungary borders itself on all sides. There is no different culture and language in Sturovo in comparison with Esztergom, the place is inhabited by hungarians and some other immigrants noone cares about.
