- Kristen Stewart discusses psychological drama 'Spencer' with Screen International Americas editor Jeremy Kay.
'Stewart' has earned an Oscar nomination for her performance as Princess Diana, who is teetering on the cusp of marital breakdown during a Christmas get together at the Sandringham estate.
The film is directed by Pablo Larrain and co-stars Sally Hawkins, Jack Farthing, Timothy Spall and Sean Harris.
Spencer world premiered in competition at Venice, and Stewart has also received nominations from the London Critics Circle, Australia’s AACTA Awards, and the Critics’ Choice awards, and was awarded the best actress prize by the Hollywood Critics Association, where the film earned eight nods in all.
Neon released the film in the US, where it has grossed more than $7m at the box office.

The first time I watched Spenser I was afraid for Kristen. The second time I watched it I was mesmerized by her performance. I did not see Kristen peek through once in the movie. I thought she did an amazing job & deserves to win the Oscar.

In most of her movies she did a distinctive job and deserves to be awarded, specially 'Spencer'.
I literally have completely lost track of what everything else is, she gives such a brilliance to these roles that searching for creative content always ends with an interesting interview that has serious heart bearing and conscious implications in a real world that's actually REAL (ish) ,, or is it? .... like on a more serious note...it's hard to fake a more serious note.
