I don’t understand why interviewers never watch other interviews of their guests. Every interview about Spencer they repeatedly ask questions she has answered 377367856787 times. Kristen is so intelligent and passionate about her work likeeeeee give her some thoughtful questions omg.

Usually interviewers send a list of questions before recording. This is so that the person being interviewed can respond efficiently, but also to avoid awkwardness.

want to hear a slip up, possibly "we'll be the interview to ask the question that gets the real answers". It happens sometimes. That's why you hear multiple people reassure interviewers "I get asked this all the time". I think its logical. I mean I'd ask the same questions because it's me asking and not listening
@Rod, how much time and energy do you think they have? The interviewers have different audiences and don't have time to listen to hours of other interviews. They each add their own touch and there's some spontaneity, but they usually agree on the questions ahead of time anyway. Plus the performers are often exhausted and busy. They can't have all their brain energy in spontaneous answers to millions of questions, especially with the intense level of critical scrutiny that they are subjected to.
This headline is extremely unprofessional and doesn't do justice for what she spoke of.

I’m sure that her performance was very good. She does not interview well at all. She never did. Dude, I’m stoked!!! And keep your hands out of your hair for 5 minutes. She didn’t do that in this particular interview, but normally, she does. She seems awkward in interviews. DUDE!!!

I love how humble she is, especially when she describes that she isn't like like a princess, that she has the freedom to do and be what she wants..... Diana was so tied to the royal family. I get their are rules, but Wow, to not do certain things and be told that she couldn't do things anymore just because she was royal, blah, blah. That must have been hard and harder still how she was hounded till the end. Very sad. Cannot wait to see this movie.

@@IndieRockerHippy it was something along the lines of “Kristen Stewart on Oscar Buzz: “I don’t give a f*ck” which is just entirely misleading, untrue and gross. I’m glad they finally changed it.
Whether she’s nominated or not, she is just fantastic in this role and became Diana. Yes I get she doesn’t just like her, and that the movie story-wise isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but she became Diana right before our eyes in a way that’s unexplainable. She is just wonderful and I hope she gets nominated.
Variety probably wanted to grab a sensationalist soundbite from this 30min podcast, so they chose that line and paint her inaccurately as not caring about Oscars.

I’ll always be inspired to see how authentic she isnt afraid to be! Even if she disagrees she respectfully introduces her take on it, and I think about if she didn’t we never would have got to understand her own insights on Diana. What really made my heart jump was when she said playing Diana was like a friend too her. such a sweet and genuine thing to feel as an actor.

Kristen developed so much through the years. I feel like she finally found herself. She was always interesting, unique, charming, beautiful (both physically and innerly) and very intelligent. Now added to all of that there is a sense of self confidence and feeling comfortable with herself. Some people degrade with years, others, like Kristen, grow beautifully becoming like a fine wine.

I don't know if I'd pick Sally Hawkins for the buddy-comedy (06:19) but I really wish *someone* would find Kristen a proper comedic script. She's actually much funnier than most ppl give her credit for (IMO), as she's most known for the "Twilight" movies, and I feel like the lighter movies she's done just haven't landed well (even though I have personally enjoyed them- don't get me wrong.)
I agree she could be amazing in the right comedy but I did like her in the Christmas movie she did recently
@@KabillaTaco Oh, for sure. I enjoyed her *tremendously* in the "Charlie's Angels" reboot. But neither of those, I feel, really landed well overall for some reason. I'm thinking of, say, when Robert DeNiro did "Meet the Parents" or even "Midnight Run". A truly comedic turn from an ostensibly dramatic actor that audiences overwhelmingly responded to. I think Kristen has it in her.

That would be a shame as she didn't embody Diana at all. Diana spoke gently. Kristen spat her words out. Diana spoke in an aristocratic drawl. Kristen rushed her words. Diana walked with the grace of a woman nearly six foot tall. I really hope this award goes to Nicole kidman because the capturing of the essence of a real person in this was an absolute farce.

Beautiful, kind, genius Kristen Stewart. Ever since the Twilight press tour, the media has had it out for her because she is an easy target. She was much happier doing press for the 25 films she made before Twilight, and Variety is one of the factors which made her jaded... she fights against being jaded, to her credit, because she still loves her job.
