I watch this an im so so sad this could be my grandfathers land, he was a victim of blackbirding slaves trade in 19th centries. My grandads were slaves in Samoa, they met and fall inlove with samoa women an we have small melanesian communities living in Samoa to dis day.We pass on histories to our generations wea our granfathers cam from and their tribes an glands. We still cal ourselfs Solomon glands or village to dis day.

Love it hold on to who we are in the pasefika. That way we’ll always belong. u don’t know what hit ya till it’s already too late. And all becomes just a memory. Hold on we are indigenous to the ocean and the jungles.tree barks and leaves looks a whole lot better on us. We live in paradise. A place we were blessed with thanks to our ancestors.they had us in their best interest unlike the lying and deceiving country’s that comes along and ruin our homes.

watching this, I was not happy about the actors trying to imitate a language that's not theirs. come on you can do better than this. you make me wanna throw up hearing you trying to speak Kwaio language when it's not yours. it's really disgusting.

sure? I thought many locals still used it on their islands. although the local common language is pidgin english just so everyone can understand each other especially those from other islands. even the pidgin english has a few traditional words in it.
