Lecce at night is even more magical! ✨ Stroll through the illuminated alleys, admire the Baroque palaces, and get lost in the suggestive atmosphere. #Lecce #Night #LecceBaroque #Puglia #Italy #Travel #Atmosphere
Thank you so much for the beautiful tour of lovely Lecce. My husband and I visited last fall and really enjoyed seeing everything again from your perspective. Italy is our haunt and we have enjoyed each of your videos. Very informative and beautifully filmed and classy!
Thank you so much for watching Elaine :) - your comments mean a lot I really appreciate it. Italy is where my heart is, so sharing it with the world is my passion. Hope you will get a chance to visit the bella paese again soon!
So informative, great information, thanks :) Would be great to have a list of all the places/timestamps in the description.. I'm heading there tomorrow so saving lots of locations xx
Our cruise ship has a stop in Brindisi. How difficult or easy is it to get to Lecce from Brindisi to explore Lecce on foot and then return to our ship without risking missing the ship’s departure. Are there frequent trains coming and going between Brindisi and Lecce? Is the train station in Lecce close enough to the town center so we can just walk from the train station to see the Basilica and explore Lecce? Thank you so much for a fabulous video!
Thanks so much for watching my video! How long would you stop be in Lecce? The train ride between Brindisi and Lecce is about 30 minutes so if its a full day port its absolutely possible. The trains are quite frequent between the towns you mentioned but their frequency/reliability can depend on the season. Lecce train station is about a 10 minute walk from the main sights of the historical centre. I hope you have a lovely time!
Yes absolutely! If you check my Postcard from Puglia video, all the beaches shown toward the end of that episode are places I went to from Lecce. Puglia is very drive-able, just need a good car and your GPS :)
yes, the nearest beach is only 5-10 minutes by car, and from the city you can also reach some of the best beaches in puglia (both on adriatic and ionian sea) in less than an hour
I’m an American, but I can never forget living in lecce, Italy in my teen. I miss the city so much❤.
How lucky you got to live there its so special!
saluti dalla Grecia alla bellissima città di Lecce 👋🏻🇮🇹🇬🇷
Incredible. What an atmosphere! As the sun painted the stones in its own color... The true essence of the Mediterranean.
Couldn't agree more!
