Is it the real speed of the engine starting sequence in the game? Way to fast! I never started RR engines but I started a lot of CF6(and also CFM56) and these turbofan take a longer time to reach idle. In the vid the engines are even quicker than JT3(I also started these engines on the DC8 I flew)which compared to big turbofan are pretty quick!
i like to fly on procedures in FSX, the most modern plane i fly is the B767-300 from Captain Sim, i very like the L1011, because as i pilot even in FSX you need to fly on yourself (even if you have the Autopilot you need to obey the Minimum Stall Speed during your approach) you still make many things manual such as: fuel planing, Engine management, Navigation, climb and final approach. Cilmb above 9.000 feeet, cruise flight and descent up to 9.000 feeet i make with outopilot, the rest i fly manual!
Oops … fuel switches (all three in this video!!!) are never selected to on or enrich before specific rotor speeds (N3 and N1) are achieved on the starter motor after start valve opening! Acceleration to idle much too fast.
I spent 3 hours trying to start the thing. And watched the video and did it in 5 min.
Thank you for the information.
Hello. When might we see a Captain Sim Let L-410 Turbolet??
Can you replace the engine fire bell with Earnest Borgnines voice?
Thanks for this. It was very useful but do you know Why are the pedals not working while flying??
How to make this bird could and dark?

Pat myZisfantastic But I truly appreciate the level of details, particularly with the flight engineer panel(I'm a former DC8 and DC10 FE)
Cheers
If I remember, they actually do take longer to start. The video was very likely condensed a bit.

I started RB211 and yes, it's WAAAY too fast.

Still wont start for me. Been sitting her two hours.
Hey this is a stupid question but what country is your company based out of?

I tried all this and I still cant get it started.

Thank you!
