I remember going on a special on the 2nd weekend of the HST, Paddington to Cardif and return for £2.50.Missed out on the First weekend when they did 125mph fo £1.25.
I have a problem the adopt an engine package did not arrive when I ordered it Severn valley railway
If these one day make it to heritage, they'll have to be officially branded as the new Class 43 LST.
Should have asked the GWR to send one of their castle set HST’s as well
