- HI FRIENDS! Today I'm sharing what my typical work day looks like. I'm a 35 year old Mom with a 9-5 work from home job. I have two toddlers (2 and 3 years old) who go to daycare during the day. This day was very productive as I was able to get a lot of work done, along with some household tasks including vacuuming/mopping the floors and doing laundry. What does your day usually look like? I’m so glad to have found your channel. A lot of YT’s I started following many years ago have turned in to full time YT’s and are now totally out of synch with reality… your videos are what I originally went to YT for. Reality, working mum life, routines, inspiration, cosy home life that is real and not over the top… I don’t want to watch ads when I tune in to YT which are what a lot of other YT’s videos have turned in to.

I've been desperately seeking a realistic working mom routine! I have 2 littles and work from home full time, and I appreciate a lot of the routines you have in place! I recently had to drop cleaning services for budget reasons, and I think you have a super practical approach! It's hard working from home and telling yourself it's okay to not do ALL the things every day; just a few things is enough! ☺️

Thank you!! I just added this to a video I’m editing right now! I don’t follow a cleaning schedule…it’s more like whatever tasks I have time for, I try to do based on my workload for the day 🤪 even if it’s something tiny like unloading the dishwasher, I consider it a win! 💪🏻

Hello! We start the bedtime routine (brush teeth, read a book) at 7:45 and they’re usually tucked in by 8:15. My daughter (2 years) goes straight to sleep but my 3.5 year old son sometimes comes out of his room once or twice before 9pm to get tucked in again. I started getting in bed around 9-9:15 and I read until about 9:30/9:40 and sleeping by 10. 🤗

Ahh man that was a tough time me for me lol 🤪 it was so hard to prioritize because my baby and my work were important. I’d say just stick with your instincts…if your baby is crying or upset, work can wait. Also try to get a good nap/eating schedule established so you kind of know when you have uninterrupted blocks of time to get work done during naps. Good luck, you got this! ❤️

What time do you go bed? Not sure I could handle the 4:50am get up?!
Between 9:30-9:45pm! It’s definitely a tough adjustment but after a while your body gets used to it! 💕💕
I WFH full time and am currently 35 weeks pregnant with our first. I'm fortunate to get 4.5 months of paid leave after which point my parents will help out until baby is 18 mo ...at least that is the plan. My parents prefer to come to my house to help (that's what they've done with my nieces and nephew). I also think it will be nice as I'll be there if they need help or to step out for anything. I'm only worried that it will be hard to work knowing baby is upstairs...I know I'll cross that bridge with I get there but curious if anyone else is working from home with toddlers.
That’s amazing all the time you get off and that your parents can help watch your baby! Wishing you the best! 💕💕 I had both of my children home with me until they were 1 (my son had a nanny but with my daughter, my husband and I took care of her throughout the day since we worked from home) …we ended up putting them both in daycare at 1 because we couldn’t give them the attention or education they needed while also working full time and the social interaction with kids their age was really important to us. They’re thriving in daycare! You’ll figure out what’s best for your family! 🫶🏻
What time do the kids go to bed everyday in order to get up at 7am?

I usually do 20-30 min strength workouts from Heather Robertson or Caroline Girvan here on RUclips - I love them!

I am also working mom and my boy 3n half year old...he will not eat anything...that's my big worry...i need to feed him
I feel you! I struggle a lot with giving my kids healthy meals…they won’t touch a vegetable and always seem to notice when I try to hide them in their food. Do what you can mama! It will all be okay! 💓💓

is your husband a work by the time you wake up in the morning? I never see him in your bed when you are waking up.
Yes! He goes to the gym super early because he has to commute and be at the office by 8am so we try to get up early together and hold each other accountable. He doesn’t like being in the videos and is out by 4:30am so I usually start filming once he’s gone ❤️
