- The Luftwaffe continued its attempts to bomb Britain into submission, while the German Afrika Korps strengthened their position as Rommel, Hitler's "desert fox", took charge. At sea, naval forces clash and battle the elements, as the Japanese embark on a spy mission to gather information on the US fleet at Pearl Harbor.

If Germany had not allied with Japan, the United States might not have been able to enter the European battle. Britain alone would have had a difficult time winning the war against Germany. After making peace with Britain, Hitler could have concentrated on the war against the Soviet Union. In that case, Germany might not have been defeated.

The "British" troops in the Middle East who fought under General O'Connor were predominantly Australian and Indian.
And NZ also
New Zealand Fought in the Battles of Greece and Crete and in the Famous Battles for the relief of Tobruk , but they did not fight with General O'Connor as he had been captured in April 1941. Cheers!

Le titre de ce documentaire est faux. Il traite à peine des Balkans quelques minutes sur 54..., c'est un condensé du début de la guerre. Un film généraliste comme tant d'autres.
Spécialistes de la guerre des Balkans passez votre chemin, c'est un documentaire de série B pour ceux qui ne connaissent pas la WW2.
Trop de publicité, une au bout d'une minute et 10 seconde puis toutes les cinq minutes, on se moque du monde, je me désabonne dommage pour moi car c'est une chaine très intéressante.

Il faudrait peut-être changer le titre de votre documentaire pour l'appeler "la seconde guerre mondiale en 53:39"!!!!!!!!!!!!! Du grand n'importe quoi. Rien sur la Conquête des Balkans, mais Dunkerque, la future reine Elisabeth, le Japon, on danse, on swing, que des images vues des milliers de fois et des commentaires dont on peut finir les phrases! A mettre dans la collection l'histoire pour les nuls. Combien de minutes consacrés à la Yougoslavie et à la Grèce? Autre chose. Une carte représentant les Balkans, fait aller la turquie, 39:51 jusqu'à l'Albanie! Chapeau! Historien mais pas géographe.
