I have watched all the you tube videos of Tim for the past 2+ years. I watched the recorded videos at the church back east, heard his testimony, started his Read Thru Bible in year and watched much of the Bible Project. I listened to his TEACHING at door of hope when he so beautifully used that chalk board!!! Loved that clarity!!! Until Tim , I had never “thought” about Jesus on PAGE ONE of the Bible! He changed my understanding and filled my head with Bible TRUTHS. Thank you Tim Mackie and Door of Hope may God grow and abundantly bless your continued ministry!!! I am almost 80 I hope Gods plan for me is to “stay tuned” for many more years!!! ❤️🙏🏻
Tim's way of articulating things seems to be continually developing. His precision of speech is something that I strive to model - and I appreciate how he does so in a way that both splinters denominational barriers, and yet does it in a lovingly subversive way rather than from an attacking mode.
Agreed! On top of being super cool and intelligent, Tim is just a really great communicator as well. God has blessed us to send us someone like Tim, to help us follow his son Jesus more closely. Thanks for commenting and watching ✅🤙🏽🔔

Oh I really appreciate that. Glad you’re here. I don’t know the exact length of time but he definitely has his doctorate. I don’t think he’s complaining to the point to where he says it’s “too long“ as a completely negative thing. I think what he means is normal sensible people don’t go to school that long for ancient languages, lol. Maybe a little tongue and cheek. Bible project actively employs scholars who are currently working through the doctoral program to work on projects so that they have multiple eyes and voices looking over everything from the level of those who are in the very act of researching the text for scholarly work. It’s a super humble and intelligent move by Tim and the Bible project to do this and would make me think he values Academics including his own career. Peace be with you
