I've been a Christian for a long time. I've never held to the dogma that the soul is immortal and can be cast into the eternal, fiery, torturous "Hell". The God who I worship would not create such an eternal nightmare. Thankfully, I was presented a book entitled, "The Fire that Consumes", a scholarly work by Edward Fudge! Eternal torture punishment in Hell, DEBUNKED!

Thank you SO much for this video. This is a conversation I have tried to have with family, friends and unbelievers. I was missing so many pieces of God's amazing vision. I have never understood or been able to grasp what you summed up in this video. Jesus Christ is Lord of all and anyone who believes in Him and repents for their sin will spend eternity with Him, in Heaven on Earth. Hell is a choice to be separated from God and His creation. 2 Thessalonians 2 explains it and why in the Bible! Harpozo in the Greek, Rapturo in the Latin Bible and this is why we just say Rapture in English although it means “to catch away quickly.”

So timely!! I just started reading a short, very clear book on the actual biblical view of heaven - "What If Jesus Was Serious About Heaven?" by Skye Jethani. My mind is blown! I even had to pull out my massive Strong's Concordance to confirm things based on the Hebrew and Greek words, and yes!! It has been there all the time. These last few videos you've posted, coupled with this book I'm reading, have absolutely strengthened my faith! I am literally 3 minutes into this video, and I had to stop and post a comment.

Excuse me but there is many biblical scholars who do nothing but study the Bible and ancient world books and handwritten documents over time. These were accumulated to make the Bible. Research the Bible Project. This young man is giving his opinion of his understanding of the Word of God. To say all others are wrong and ignorant is just not true. That’s a broad swipe to humanity to say everyone is wrong but his interpretation. Don’t always assume something you are told is correct until you test it. To many cults have been created by someone’s misinterpretation of the Bible. Remember that Satan knows the Bible better than we do. He uses it to trap us to lure us away from God.
Obvious that you don't know history as most if not all bible scholars does not know history beside the tainted history lessons that they discriminately absorb - fact is original NT was written in Koine Greek and was not translated to vulgate Latin some 250 years later as most "bible scholars" base their reading

It seems to me, that all of these varying renditions of rapture have in fact for the most part been manufactured by man. I don't believe in the 'left behind' business and never have. This idea of being swept away was/is a very peripheral concept for me personally. I've never worried about it. I worry about the salvation of loved ones and myself and those who're decent people same as myself that i'll never meet in this life. So long as i'm allowed into the Kingdom of God, i'm all set on whatever is coming our way!

What bigger 'hell' could there be than to be eternally seperated from our loving God??
I’m aware of many people who view “the rapture” as a deliverance from conditions in earth but they also believe that after He deals with circumstances in Earth, they subsequently spend eternity with Him here on earth. This sounds like a sermon based on anecdotal evidence (as in, “people have said this to me”, people have written me about this”) and then it shifts from what Christian’s seen to believe to what non-Christians think Christians think.
Hell is the place of God's Holy Wrath against Sin God rules over all being equally satisfied in his Divine justice and mercy God alone is Sovereign
So how does he ensure the new world does not fall like this one?

That’s a heavy question and that’s the best I can do to answer
Mackie and Wright definitely making me rethink my theological upbringing and Christian education. I’m thinking more of God as the “force” in the Star Wars saga now and that the spiritual realm is more “real” than the physical world. Totally makes sense. Mackies presentation of repeating melody in the Bible to explain suffering and his newly discovered thoughts on prayer have been tremendously edifying. However…I’m struggling with this concept of Hell. The spiritual “Garden of Eden” presented as our eternal Heaven totally makes sense. But the idea of “Hell” having not been prepared for the Devil and his angels bothers me for some reason. Matthew 25:41 seems to refute this. Most of our knowledge of Hell comes from the teachings of Jesus. There are so many myths and human concepts of Hell…that teaching is all over the place. I guess I just need to make sure I’m not in that place…wherever it is.
I think you just discovered the purpose of Hollywood... to have Christians rethink their theology by tickling our ears and taking us off the narrow path.
At 24:44, you begin the "story" about the sacrifices. You even throw the scapegoat into it, even though the scapegoat is not sacrificed.
Jesus had to die on Passover because He IS the Passover lamb. Ever been to a Jewish Seder dinner? The entire Passover is a rehearsal of Jesus's sacrifice for the sins of the world, NOT the freedom of the Jews. Afterall, the Jewish people still rejected Him, and were not freed from the Roman occupation. But His ministry was the beginning of the age of the Gentiles, where we are grafted into the Tree of Life, previously reserved for the Jews.
Jesus spoke far more about Hell than He did about Heaven. Jesus told the story about Lazarus and the rich man, where Lazarus was comforted in Abraham's Bosom, while the rich man was tormented in Hell. I tend to put some weight in a story Jesus Himself tells. A LOT of weight.
Sorry, people have NOT created Hell. Hell was created for the fallen angels, and people who have CHOSEN to reject God and eternity in His presence have to go somewhere. Being eternal beings, Hell is the only other option. People have not created Hell, but they do chose to go there when they reject God and His gift of eternal life in the form of Jesus' death for us.
The wages of sin is death, and the blood of animals could only cover sin, but it did not TAKE AWAY the sin. Only the Blood of Jesus could do that.
This video literally ignores the previous series on the Books of Enoch, as Enoch actually decended into Hell and wrote about the unpassable chasm between Abraham's Bosom and the Hell chambers...then you post this, denying that same series of videos.

Life is NOT a dress rehearsal. You get one shot at it. This message is literally from Satan, because he doesn't want people to believe in Hell. But God desperately wants everyone to know there is one, and He does NOT want ANYONE to go there.
@candancemcgee3328 The parable of the Rich Man of Lazarus is a parable and not to be taken literal. Jesus spoke to people in parables because there was an obscure meaning behind them. The Rich Man represents the nation of Judah and the Pharisees who in those days dressed in purple and fine line. Lazarus represents the Nation of Israel who in 2 Kings 17:20 was cast outside the gate of Jerusalem when God allowed them to be taken into captivity by Assyria. The rich man had 5 brothers just as Judah himself had 5 brothers, Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Issachar, and Zebulun. The others were only his half brothers. The word hell is Hades which is meant to convey the Hebrew word Sheol. In Greek Hades is a place of punishment and torture while Sheol is literally the grave in the Hebrew language often referred to as a state of being asleep. The book of Ecclesiastes 9:5 tells us in death there is NO consciousness.
If you are not well studied in the OT you will not be able to understand the meaning of the parables. Please keep in mind that after king Solomon died the kingdom of Israel split. Judah consisted of the tribe of Benjamin and Israel had the remaining 10 tribes. In other words there is great distinction between Israel and Judah who are spoken of often in the parables. Even until this day the kingdom remains split.
It’s mind boggling to me that people take the parables and make them literal as if all people have eyes to see and ears to hear. In Matthew 13:10-17 the disciples ask Jesus why He speaks in parables and He says “Because they haven’t received the secrets of the kingdom of heaven, but you have.” Jesus also says, “ although they see, they don’t really see; and although they hear, they don’t really hear or understand.” Lean not on your own understanding or the understanding of man and seek God to reveal the truth to you.
EVERY parable referenced something that was real. If you are saying this one is simply symbolic then it would be the only one.
I noticed you use 143 on your name … That’s a number God has used to bring me back to His Words… Long story. But revelations 14:3… I never even knew about any of what God has been showing me over these past 3 years. Numbers are truly an ancient language. God uses them all through the Bible. And I believe they are keys to unlocking the parables throughout the Bible ❤

I recently subscribed to this channel. This video had me go back to read the "about" statement of the channel, which I suppose I should have read before clicking the sub button.
Jesus is not just a "guide". He is our Lord and Savior. And the purpose of his second coming is first in judgement, then to set up his heavenly kingdom on Earth (as it is in Heaven). Without the judgement part and Hell, there is no justice. And, according to Jesus' words, it's more than just being left outside the camp...

“Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.’

I believe Tim addresses your questions beginning around the 53:00 minute mark in the video. He says there’s all kinds of details about hell we want to know that the Bible doesn’t tell us. He uses the same imagery used in Mt 22:1-14 saying those who reject Jesus Christ are cast outside the city (eventually outside the new heaven and Earth) into the outer darkness (hell). However, he focuses his conclusion on the good news of Jesus Christ and not on what hell is.

I agree, but also do consider that God created all things. That includes heaven above and all below. Hell was prepared for the devil and his angels by God, not by man or some other. Blessings
It seems by default if you prepare a place with many rooms here on earth, that is devoid of Hell and Sin you automatically have prepared an alternative place.
The Bible does not teach annihilation.
So when Jesus sets up his Kingdom here on Earth uniting Heaven and Earth
Together.
He will not allow what humans have brought into our present world into his new creation. HIS normal and original plan must be restored.
So this area must be a place that is devoid of the goodness and love of God. It must be a place of eternal Sin. A place where one would live in Hell.
I.e Sin or Hell.
So if someone does not buy into this plan and holds on to this bit of hell, Sin transgession etc.
They will not be allowed into the place where Heaven and Earth unite.
So where do these souls go?
They can not come to the party or marriage banquet. Unless they are cleansed by Christ. They need a whole bath not just a foot washing. Until we come to the Lord.
I believe the New world will be exciting, and will show what the original intent and plan of God.
We will be useful, now in the Kingdom and later.

Good stuff. However do consider that in the Bible heaven is typically shown as up. Gods spirit hovered, up. The earth is His foot stool, up. Angels on a ladder, up. Christ assended, up, and so on.

When the scripture says the stars will fall from heaven, that's exactly what it means. It isn't metaphorical. The stars are much smaller and much closer than we're told.
It means a nation/ government will fall. What do you see on most nations’ flags? Sun - moon - stars.

The Bible says so very little about what happens to us immediately after we die. You get like two verses. The Old Testament or Hebrew scriptures were just as descriptive and literally only talked about the afterlife as going to the grave/earth or as being asleep. Now there’s a good chunk of scripture that focuses on resurrection and new creation. That’s what happens at the day of the Lord when Jesus comes back and makes everything right. The Bible has a lot to say about That resurrection life and what it’s like in God‘s kingdom, but as far as the in between sorry sister, that is a purposeful mystery from the Bible
Punishing mankind for one person's sin collectively as one unit doesnt make sense. If Jesus is the second Adam who came to ransom us by his death and ressurection, why cant we all share his redemption collectively also as one unit just as we shared Adams sin, for afterall we've already paid the prize of his fall in this earthly life full of suffering.
I think this is the heaviest theology i've ever listened to, haha. Not gonna lie, i've got more understanding to come by to be able to fully get these concepts. Definitely some world breaking stuff is going on here. I've always wondered why the bible says that the kingdom of God is here??? I have always believed that if I made it, so to speak, that I would be here within a perfect earth or new eden. Is it correct to assume the Kingdom of God is of course setup, but it simply hasn't seen a grand opening yet?
So when you pray for someone, for example for their situation or healing...and they are healed or they obtain relief from the issue they are being confronted with....count that as the Kingdom " breaking in"...as in God's presence is evidenced..in His World

Jesus, John the Baptist, and the disciples all taught that the kingdom of heaven was at hand in the first century. Is it possible that the events of the new Testament happened in the 1st century? When Jesus was talking to his disciples in Matthew 24 about the end of the world/age, the great tribulation and his return, in verse 34 he said, "this generation shall not pass till all these things be fulfilled." Since he was talking face-to-face with his disciples, wouldn't that mean they were the ones who had great tribulation and saw the return of Jesus?
@@skadoosh20 I've read and heard that Revelation is dualistic in nature. That Jesus' generation did see revelation, that John wrote about, but that the final deal would come in the future when Jesus came back once and for all. I think it's essentially going to happen again, only this time it's final and forever.
@jasonleveck8546 John was told in Revelation to not seal up the sayings of the prophecies of this book because the time is at hand. If it was at hand then, it's a past event. Also Jesus said in Rev 3:11, behold I come quickly. That generation in the first century would have been "quickly," not nearly two thousand years later.
The Garden of Eden could be seen as an intersection between the Heavenly and Earthly realms, in which humanity was banished. This seems odd, it appears that the Lord God (YHWH Elohim) was a bit harsh on Adam and Eve, and lied to them by saying that they would die if they ate from the fruit of the knowledge of Good and Evil. They did not die, but they became wiser. Why would YHWH banish them for being like the Elohim and knowing what Good and Evil were?
The main focuses to understand we decided to follow spiritual evil and to decide what was good in our own eyes rather than trusting our father
Because he knew if we stayed in the garden of Eden we could become eternal in this state of following the snake
So God’s plan was to rescue us and the first step of that plan was to get us out of the garden.

You are missing the point. This video does not say Hell does not exist. This video claims that the western caricature of understanding hell as a fiery torture chamber in the middle of the Earth that God sends people who don’t say the sinners prayer is completely BOGUS. Jesus created hell, not humans. It was made for a reason and for a purpose. The lies in this video and the twisting of the Bible are scary and are not just misunderstandings but down right deceiving.
God was able to communicate to John that Babylon was falling & say Babylon. So if the sun is going to be darken & the moon won't give her light, then that's NOT about Babylon.
Folks Heaven is real, the new Jerusalem is REAL & yes Jesus will return to earth and we will rule & reign with him 1,000 yrs 🙏. If you die without applying the blood of Jesus to your sins you will be in Hell for ALL ETERNITY. Without blood there no remission of sin. Believe Jesus died for your sins and that God raised him from the dead then call upon the name of the Lord to save you & he will.

Pray for God to open your mind and to realize that hell is not a fiery torture chamber God prepared for people who reject him. Hell is separation from God’s presence and denying the grace offered through the resurrection of Jesus. Unfortunately the Bible doesn’t give clear specific answers but teaches us to have a bias of hope and to share the good news. I will not debate with you but all I will ask is for you to stick around.
