My. Cousin Rick was a state trooper and his brother,my cousin Sean was a corrections officer Their father , my Uncle Richie was a fireman at Pratt & Whitney in in Middletown CT . I also had a friend from my hometown, Portland,, Jimmy Lynch ,who was a firefighter like his dad Joe !!!
As a retired LEO…I had occasion to rush two partners who were injured to the hospital. One when a cinder block came thru our windshield….( the steering wheel absorbed my side ) and the windshield exploded in his face, the other when he broke his hand while we were fighting with a guy who had just broken into the home of an elderly widow. There are many, many more serious injuries that other officers had to deal with during the course of their careers. God bless and watch over our men and women in blue.
I know this hasn't been a very popular sentiment these past few years with Antifa and BLM and defundpolice stupidity but thank you for your service as an officer protecting us.

My father died in the line of duty when I was only 9 Years later as a training Officer my first rookie was shot and bled out in my arms She was only 23 and she had a 3 year old daughter......This business is a tough one
