    Thanks in advance

    • @CoreElementsTraining
      @CoreElementsTraining  3 года назад +1

      The popliteus is located at the back of the knee joint, therefore to target this area, you would need to cup at the back of the knee. Go for the broader aspect just below the joint.

      Cupping can help with muscular related pain and tension.
      It would be worth trying the treatment to see if your pain near the bone is muscular related. But if no change at all in the level
      Of the pain, then you need to see a doctor to assess ‘bone’ related pain.

    Hi, I wanted to know can cupping help in the case of diaphragm paralysis?

    • @CoreElementsTraining
      @CoreElementsTraining  2 года назад +1

      Hi Kazi Azmir,
      It really depends on the cause and severity of the paralysis.
      For instance if the phrenic nerve is paralyzed, the diaphragm will stop working altogether and the effected person cannot breathe on their own.
      Dry cupping won't help this condition as it's a medical emergency with a neural cause.
      However, if there is reduced function due to scoliosis, then cupping to the abdomen, the lower rib line and over the ribs themselves, may help to reduce musculoskeletal related tension and improve movement around the ribcage.

    • @CoreElementsTraining
      @CoreElementsTraining  3 года назад

      Hi Nikhil, yes it can depending on the age of the injury.
      Don’t go directly over the ligament whilst it’s still in the actuate stage of healing, but you can go around the wider knee region and treat the muscles that cross the knee joint 👍
      Hope this helps and that your knee recovers quickly.

    Does cupping heal horizontal meniskus tear eventuall and how long does it take?

    • @CoreElementsTraining
      @CoreElementsTraining  6 месяцев назад

      It can help to reduce muscular related tension that may have increased due to the meniscus tear, but cupping itself won't penetrate to the meniscus itself.
      Healing time is dependent on the severity of the tear, plus age and health can also have a bearing on this too.

      Try using a smaller cup in the space between the patella and the top of the tibia, as it could help to reduce pressure on the fat pad. If pressure / compression is reduced in this area, it should help to reduce pain 👍.

    • @CoreElementsTraining
      @CoreElementsTraining  Год назад

      Hi Srikanth Jayanthi,
      Sorry to hear that you have an ACL and meniscus injury.
      Dry Cupping doesn't penetrate into the joint for a meniscus injury and it really depends on the grade of the ACL sprain as to if surgery is required. If this is a grade 3 then this means a complete rupture and surgery is usually needed. However if the ACL sprain is a grade 1 or 2 it will usually heal after time, but there may be some ongoing instability at the knee joint.
      Some of your pain may be muscular in nature due to the injury. Therefore try Dry Cupping to the Quadriceps, Hamstrings, Gastroc and adductors, as these all cross the knee joint.
      Start with static cupping and build up over time to Sliding and STR techniques.
      However I'd also advise going back to your GP to discuss rehab and stabilising the joint if you want to avoid surgery.
      I hope this helps and kind regards

      Hi Johan,
      You can certainly try using the cups around the outer edge of the swelling to see if it helps to reduce it by stimulating the lymphatic system.
      However it would be useful to see a doctor/ consultant to find out why the swelling has continued in this area, and if it’s swelling from the original injury, or if this is re-aggravation of the old injury.

      Hi Kalyani,
      sorry to hear that you have reduced range of motion at your knee joint.
      Depending on the injury / condition, yes cupping could help. I would focus on cupping the the quadriceps region (thigh) along with the hamstrings and calf region. as these muscles cross the knee and if they are shortened and tight, they will effect movement at the knee.
      You could also cup around the knee as show in the video above.
      If you are not a therapists, also see the advise of a local therapist in your area.
      I hope this helps and that you get movement back soon.

    Is this works for k we arthritis?

    • @CoreElementsTraining
      @CoreElementsTraining  2 года назад +1

      If you have arthritis in the knee with swelling then cup around the swelling and not over the top.
      Also focus on reducing tension in the quadriceps muscle group / thigh area as this will help to reduce tension on the knee joint.
      Hope this helps.

      In this video Dry Cupping is being used from a clinical perspective, rather than a traditional perspective.
      Traditional dry and wet cupping would be used in a different way to that as outlined in our video. In the video we are focusing on treatment to the MSK system.
      Thanks and kind regards
