To my ears these 3rd Gen Air pods are more comfortable compared to the newer Pro version with the soft gel tips. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxgl8SzyQoymMu-S3V55Dskg5QJ8xr1yCR That said, compared to the 3rd Gen, I notice these do not stay planted in the ear as well. One design issue I think, is you squeeze the stem and click it twice to advance your songs. On 3rd gen you tap the large speaker. The difference is by grabbing the stem each time, you tend to loosen the bud fit in your ear. Not always, but the bud falls out a few times while running. The old tap to change never had that problem for me. I would not have changed that tap function. That said, the newer Pro version sticks in the ear, almost airtight if you want that. I do not like that Airtight fit. So that's why I'd stay with this version as the best trade off of comfort, use, and overall feel.

You need a bluetooth dongle for it but i think it doesnt work ether

Set the device as default audio device in the Sound Control Panel (Google Sound Control Panel for how to access it )
@@QnJhbQ Mine can't even find it. When I go to audio, it connects to my speakers, even when unplugged. It says its paired but nothing happens :( Airpods never come up except to say its paired and thats it. Also, why can't you use it as a mic too?

I have a problem where the airpods aren't showing up onto my devices on my windows. the white light is turned on and softly blinking, it's not connected to any other device, and I have blue tooth set up on my desktop. But it keeps searching for a device but never comes up. I can't even pair my airpods. Is it a problem with my computer or the airpods itself?

your computer might not have bluetooth indtalled
