    If you live or have lived in Bahrain, what are your pros and cons?

    • @BMK500
      @BMK500 2 года назад +8

      Pro: shawarma, chill people (generally), you get a lot for your housing, quite a bit to do, being in the center of the Middle East Europe isn’t that far away and so is Asia, Formula 1 and you can actually race on the Bahrain intl circuit for a decent price, Tea.
      Cons: not much outside of the northern part of the island, air quality, July August and early September is basically cancelled, SAUDI drivers.
      Honorable mention: the harassment isn’t limited to women, I had like 4 Thai women run up on me in a club in juffair, that was a weird one.

    Bahrain has that rough around the edges, lived-in feel that's missing from a lot of places in the Gulf, which I think makes it more interesting and genuine than places like Dubai. I spent a couple months there total while In the Navy and there's something very nostalgic about it for me.

    • @toriannsharpe

      Mind sharing what do you mean by 'genuine than Dubai'? İs it because we can still see the culture and heritage? Compared to Dubai, it's like the metropolitan city?

    Bahrain is the jewel in the crown of the Gulf, I first visited in 1981 and have now lived here for 11 years. Going to see Swan Lake and Sleeping Beauty ballets next month, oh and Andre Rieu is here in a few days. Yes, it’s hot and humid in the summer, but you can have a BBQ 363 days in a year 😅, plus it’s a very safe country to live for men and women.

    With all due respect lots of things were bs. Come on you know that literally no one goes indoor skydiving cause its expensive, the beaches suck, i’m bahraini and never ever heard any local or expat that went indoor rock climbing. I do agree with harassing and why sugar coat be like bahrainis don’t harass when lots do as well. I’ll tell you what this video is, its just a conservative politically correct attempt to show your opinion while fearing to say something that could compromise you staying in bahrain in the future or fearing retribution from locals. Every single video of expats feels there not speaking theirs hearts like they would when mentioning another western country
