I wish we could just use regular milk. No such thing as buttermilk where i live

Make your own buttermilk
1 teaspoon of vinegar to 1cup of regular milk. Let it stand for 10mins so vinegar can react with milk
And viola!!! Butter milk or just use plain yoghurt
