Azucena was starting to attack again right before being hit by the second hit of 2,4 (I went frame by frame and can confirm it). One thing I notice in these clips when someone gets hit at a weird angle after sidestepping is that they're always about to throw out a move. Someone said that when you start attacking, your hurtbox kind of expands which causes them to hit you. Not saying I agree with this, it's very BS, but that's just how it unfortunately works. This happens in T7 too. As a Lili main I've always had failed sidestep into whiff punish attempts because I attacked way too early causing their string to hit me. Now I try to be patient and fully confirm they finished the string first. You could try playing the replay, and take control over the Azucena and have her not attack after the evasion, see if the kick misses.
In Elegant Palace, you need to break the glass wall to open up to balcony,if round start again with this state, you will start fighting at the balcony.
God, the hitboxes in this game suck ass... Sidestepped one of Nina's slaps yesterday, putting myself practically behind her and still got killed... Cost me my rank too. And don't even get me started on Devil Jin's laser...
don't worry about losing ranks especially when it's to some bullshit like this. just gotta say "hey alright that's cool" and move on lol or else you'll get bitter (like i have been sometimes)
