well, out of the 100 or so men I liked, there was one guy named Cody I most wanted to meet. We messaged a few times, then exchanged SnapChat and messaged *there* a few times - but, a much younger, far more eager guy beat him to the punch. As a tall 31 year old Swede, who was overweight most his 20s I can say that 4 years of gym and calisthenics and 2-3 years of taking care of my beard has probably 10x my chances in dating. You are so very true about the physical care taking and how much that improves your results when being in the dating 'game'. I used to have long sloppy hairs, didn't have any muscular development at all, but was also 'blessed' with a belly. Very charming. Until I cut the hairs, constantly maintained a good shave and haircut, burned my fat and started to lift weights at the age of 45. Now - 4 years later - not only my physical appearance has been a complete transformation (being muscular/athletic and lean) but the attention I get is unmatched to ever before in my entire life. Back in early 2000's the Discovery Channel did a several part TV show called "The Science Of Sex" where they did several experiments with results. When I was younger I used to wonder how to approach women and how some people seemed to have it easy. Now I understand. They didn't have to do much approaching. Just be attractive enough and the women would make it clear to them. The few relationships I've had all started that way too. The red pill advice about how to approach is a lot of effort for a low return. It's better to make yourself attractive and then find ways of putting yourself in front of suitable women. Warm approach, as it were. I used to go to parties and events and didn't really enjoy them all that much. Now I realise that these things were invented for the attractive people to find each other at.

I spent 25 years dating in Los Angeles. I was a full-on Chad, and worked hard to maintain that. Movie star looks/chiseled gym body/high paying job/big house/fancy car. If women actually found their soulmates on these apps, these companies wouldn't make money. This is so true, good friend of mine is a solid 9 and he used to get dates on tinder with no effort what so ever and the girls he would choose were all solid 8 or above. When you have great looks and body that is pretty much all you need on dating apps but don't expect the women to be anything other than crazy. There was a famous experiment where a guy had in his bio that he is a former (convicted) kids molestor and you could see nazi tattoos on his muscles and he had even better results. I'm considered above average in looks. On dating sites I literally do nothing but put up a profile. Everyday I get 7-8 women want to chat and date. I simply follow up the ones that interest me. Looks don't just make a difference...they make ALL the difference!
What's crazy is... Absolute top-tier guys get even fewer, or around the same matches as average women from what I remember. Due to many things. Despite a guy being very attractive, women are STILL much pickier on looks, or certainly when all they have to go on is looks in a picture. Secondly, you have significantly more men on the apps in the first place, meaning more possible matches for the fewer women. The list goes on. It's a brutal game, boys.

This confirms what I’ve said about how game, PUA, your bio, etc. are useless if the woman is not agreeable to interacting with you at first glance. Because she won't listen to your "game" or read your bio. She'll just swipe left and move on. Game only helps if you pass that initial looks test. This is why virtually all game/PUA gurus are significantly above average in natural good looks and height, or flaunt their above average status and income.
This is true for online dating. But if you are talking about real life, we all know below average or a bit ugly guys who can date easily, because of their funny and outgoing personnality. I think this is a gift, just like beauty and not everybody is capable of doing that. Just like there are good actors and bad ones. But trying to improve your personnality, being more social will always help you regardless.

You can partially compensate for lack of height/looks with a great sense of humor and personality. But you're still talking about needing allot of luck. Either luck in height/looks, or luck having and getting the opportunity to showcase attractive personality traits. Videos of women shaming and chastising men for trying to talk to them, or even just looking at them, are becoming more common. So even real world approaching is fast becoming not worth the effort and risks. We do have some control over our personality. So men should still work on improving their social skills and sense of humor, as it will help them in many areas of life. It's just poor ROI to do it for the purpose of chasing women IMO.

Also what is considered ugly may not be ugly in other places like south east asia or south america. If you cannot bring beauty, you can still bring something else. Most men are also completely delusional about love and they believe it must be like in the movies. Passion never last, even if you are a perfect chad, just look at cinema stars who have everything one could hope for (at least at first glance). @@totoriri6973 I don't see it as getting down, I think it's just being realistic. Not all of something has to be bad, for it to be prohibitively risky or a bad ROI. Until the laws regarding marriage, false accusations, domestic abuse arrests, divorce, and child custody change, the system is still rigged against men. And for many, the only winning move is not to play. Going overseas to find a more traditional women is an option for some. But if do that, then you should stay overseas, and have a 100% remote job that pays US salary. First, to be sure she's not using you for a green card. And second, because if you bring her back here, there's a good chance she will be influenced and indoctrinated by western culture and feminism. Remember that western women used to be traditional too. Having said all that, I think the best path if you want success with women, is just to focus on improving yourself for your own prosperity. And finding purpose, hobbies, and meaning outside of women. I consider myself an above average looking guy, I’m unkempt with long hair, 6’2, and honestly my best feature is my beard genetics (which I don’t take advantage of because I don’t ever trim or cleanup my beard), if I had to give a self rating I’d say probably 6-7/10. I get 2-3 matches per week, and usually end up talking to girls for weeks before things fizzle out and I lose interest due to them not wanting to meet or being sketchy, and other times I’ll just leave someone on read for weeks cuz I’m no longer interested. Whaaat ? Ok women should stop using dating apps. They find nearly every guy undesirable. There is literally no point with these apps anymore. I have a high tier average looking face, being 5'8 is a pure death sentence. I got maybe 20 matches in total over 2 months. None of these girls were really interested. @@baryony Let me enlighten you brother. Hinge and a couple of others are less popular than Tinder. So women do not get as many messages or likes. Which makes it a bit less competitive. The women on them are also a bit less shallow and more serious. All these apps still suck and are based on looks, but Tinder is definitely the worst. I have had more success on Hinge and Bumble. I still think they are mostly a waste of time but if you must use one, try those instead. But really, just go to the gym and get ripped. If you have problem finding women, just go do this, start today.

I used to have long sloppy hairs, didn't have any muscular development at all, but was also 'blessed' with a belly. Very charming. Until I cut the hairs, constantly maintained a good shave and haircut, burned my fat and started to lift weights at the age of 45. Now - 4 years later - not only my physical appearance has been a complete transformation (being muscular/athletic and lean) but the attention I get is unmatched to ever before in my entire life. I have watched my early 20’s female friends use Tinder and they base their decisions solely on looks. If the guy isn’t “cute” to them they go in the discard pile. It’s actually disgusting how quickly they pass on normal looking dudes, we’re talking sub second decision making. They get tons of messages from guys that are never replied too, and they simply don’t care. Them not caring at all on these dating apps means it’s just a huge waste of time if you are an average man.

When I was younger I used to wonder how to approach women and how some people seemed to have it easy. Now I understand. They didn't have to do much approaching. Just be attractive enough and the women would make it clear to them. The few relationships I've had all started that way too. The red pill advice about how to approach is a lot of effort for a low return. It's better to make yourself attractive and then find ways of putting yourself in front of suitable women. Warm approach, as it were.

If women actually found their soulmates on these apps, these companies wouldn't make money. This is so true, good friend of mine is a solid 9 and he used to get dates on tinder with no effort what so ever and the girls he would choose were all solid 8 or above. When you have great looks and body that is pretty much all you need on dating apps but don't expect the women to be anything other than crazy. This confirms what I’ve said about how game, PUA, your bio, etc. are useless if the woman is not agreeable to interacting with you at first glance. Because she won't listen to your "game" or read your bio. She'll just swipe left and move on. Game only helps if you pass that initial looks test. This is why virtually all game/PUA gurus are significantly above average in natural good looks and height, or flaunt their above average status and income.

This is true for online dating. But if you are talking about real life, we all know below average or a bit ugly guys who can date easily, because of their funny and outgoing personnality. I think this is a gift, just like beauty and not everybody is capable of doing that. Just like there are good actors and bad ones. But trying to improve your personnality, being more social will always help you regardless.

You can partially compensate for lack of height/looks with a great sense of humor and personality. But you're still talking about needing allot of luck. Videos of women shaming and chastising men for trying to talk to them, or even just looking at them, are becoming more common. So even real world approaching is fast becoming not worth the effort and risks.

Until the laws regarding marriage, false accusations, domestic abuse arrests, divorce, and child custody change, the system is still rigged against men. And for many, the only winning move is not to play.
Going overseas to find a more traditional women is an option for some. But if do that, then you should stay overseas, and have a 100% remote job that pays US salary. First, to be sure she's not using you for a green card. And second, because if you bring her back here, there's a good chance she will be influenced and indoctrinated by western culture and feminism. Remember that western women used to be traditional too.
Having said all that, I think the best path if you want success with women, is just to focus on improving yourself for your own prosperity. And finding purpose, hobbies, and meaning outside of women. This also has the secondary benefit of making you more desirable to women.
I consider myself an above average looking guy, I’m unkempt with long hair, 6’2, and honestly my best feature is my beard genetics (which I don’t take advantage of because I don’t ever trim or cleanup my beard), if I had to give a self rating I’d say probably 6-7/10. I get 2-3 matches per week, and usually end up talking to girls for weeks before things fizzle out and I lose interest due to them not wanting to meet or being sketchy, and other times I’ll just leave someone on read for weeks cuz I’m no longer interested.
