Haha, 3:32 "The only salsa show that also teaches you physics!" Thanks for all of the videos, Anthony. They're easy enough to follow without going too slow, and they've really helped me to understand the mindset and general mechanics that allows me to go from a beginner, just blindly mimicking what I was being taught, to a more intermediate dancer with a better understanding of what's actually going on. I get complimented on my leads all the time in my basic classes because of you!
i took classes with jorge martinez and i dance kind like well but i danced without styling. now i dance like a lady jaja! thanks julie!! c: and anthony!
@Addicte2Salsa- I totally enjoy your videos. I'm new to Salsa, and love the music, the shines and the partner work. Although, I'm learning Salsa on 2, it's interesting to see/learn how the moves are done on 1. Thank you for taking the time to make these videos. -blessings
@SunnysoulNY We had a vote on our facebook page on what fans preferred. More fans preferred On1 first and then On2. Every now and then, for my own benefit of not getting bored doing these videos, I'll teach advanced patterns on2 first and then do the on1 explanation at the end.
@ltigre2031 Yes, we are working on a Droid X version. (We might not be able to support all phones due to hardware and feature differences, but we'll do our best).
@Gypsylynn I can see how that would be beneficial for us, but for them that would mean making all the videos twice, needing more studio time, and making it more boring (I would think, at least). I think it's already amazing that these things are online here for free!
It appears that when she do her first inside turn {left turn} she is stepping on 5&6&7 which is 5 steps but she do not mention it. Am I seeing it wrong?
Addicted2Salsa These are great tutorials man, I actually tried this move using ur tutorial and i got it quick, thanks :-)... but anyways what is the name of the song thats playing in the beginning?
It's a cool pattern but the intro doesn't do anything to help practice it. In the beginning when you are showing it with music you are on 2, but when you start explaining it you're on 1.....
If you can do the On2 Count just slightly longer would be appreciated...The Zoom Out into the IPOD during the Middle of the On2 Counts kindda feels like your blowing off your On2 Followers...LOL
Nice, Buenas vueltas pero lo unico que les falta es sentir la musica para asi al segir la musica se vea mas natural..bailan bonito, pero si le agregan eso seria mejor, bueno es mi humilde opinion.

Yes, I find some partners enjoy spinning me around! It's been fun dancing. I'm glad I started to learn.
i like when you do the pattern from 2 different perspectives before teaching it. please do more of this!
i took classes with jorge martinez and i dance kind like well but i danced without styling. now i dance like a lady jaja! thanks julie!! c: and anthony!
Mother of god. Anthony and Jocelyn are freaking awesome!
I just learnt this in class today along with shoulder check , and I was excited to see your video!

I missed you!!
Great vid as always!
I just want to know how to avoid not getting dizzy with the spins!
This is super late haha, but pick anything stationary in the room and keep your eyes on that while you spin!
Do not look down. Look straight ahead somewhere.
I get so dizzy when spinning and can't seem to focus on something stationary and then my turns are slow and wobbly

Best videos every online wish you organized them by seasons
i love salsa n i love ur video :)
So on one after the three spins on 3:47 when the count restarts does one start with the man stepping forward or backwards as he shows in the video?
Either direction is fine depending on what you are doing afterwards.
which part we have to start 1st? 2nd? 3rd.. i really love salsa.. wish can be like you apersaud.. :)
Please stay on1. It is so much simpler and natural. Those of us that do not take dance lessons dance on1.
nice dance!

Guararre by Ray Barretto (Album: Barretto Live)
Hope that was helpful!
@SunnysoulNY I think it was best when he danced in the intro on2 , then explained it with details on1 and at the end shows it on2.
great little move cheers ;)
Nice! thanks, I like this!
Good video
buenìsima tambièn esta clase.
What kind of surface are you guys dancing on? That doesn’t look like hardwood or tile.
It appears that when she do her first inside turn {left turn} she is stepping on 5&6&7 which is 5 steps but she do not mention it. Am I seeing it wrong?
What brand of shoes does she use?

Clearly the woman dances much better than the man.
Me apasiona la salsa, y quiero aprender a bailarla...
This is how women should train to turn and spin; instead of complaining they are being given too many turns.
damn bruh youre good..
what happened to melanie?
haha Newtons third law :)))) good man!
It's a cool pattern but the intro doesn't do anything to help practice it. In the beginning when you are showing it with music you are on 2, but when you start explaining it you're on 1.....
This shows the turns but doesn't teach How to turn multiple times. Like where's the momentum to do the other turns coming from??
kiero aprender a bailar como tu MAESTROOOOO
If you can do the On2 Count just slightly longer would be appreciated...The Zoom Out into the IPOD during the Middle of the On2 Counts kindda feels like your blowing off your On2 Followers...LOL

Sorry guys, but don't like it at all. Between other things, you should please be careful bout the on1 and on2 explanations.
The man has no rhythm in the feet, only walking
keyboard warriors are the best
There's not even any music. This is instruction, you dope.
This video so old these clothes are out of style
disculpen mas ustedes son solo un pareja mas bailandoo....y pesimamente...falta mucho sabor!!
Did y'all just assume our gender?
@ltigre2031 No one cares about Android.
