I just got my hands on this Pandora box 18s and I was very pleased that the games that were unplayable and laggy in the 11s version were fixed. The games that I found the problems were: Mortal Kombat, Turtles in time, Twin Cobra 2, Darius Gaiden, Elevator Action Returns and Vapor Trail. All those games were fixed including X-men arcade.
Hold the configuration button is what I mean. Hold it 2-3 second and power it on while holding it. Mine cycles between 16:9 and 4:3. Sure this one will also.
I already knew about the so-so quality joystick before buying the Pandora 18s but I am surprised by how it does not suck as I expected. It was great for my favourite old games like Marvel Superheroes and Street Fighter 3 series. Overall a satisfied customer. Of course later upgrade maybe Streetfighter 5 on the PC with high quality joysticks. But that's later...
People continue in trying to emulate everything on one single device and want no glitches. The first pandoras released were good because of each game inside had been selected in order to run with no lag or issue. This is the reason why I like them more than these retropie images with 5000 games, where only a few run properly. 👍🏻

I'm curious about input lag and also how buttons register when using two players, USB 2.0 only registers 4 button presses at the same time, diagnals are two presses, two buttons at the same time has maxed it out, when using two players on the xarcade tank stick it would stop registering intermittent presses by maxing out the usb. can you have two players at the same time going crazy and it keep up with button presses?

most of the units have issues with sound on both platforms depends on the games of course seems in game sound is usually an 8+ but the lead in sounds are really spotty....

I have recently got the Pandora’s games 3D (2248 Wi-fi) it’s really good. Yes there are some slow downs on n64 but I feel Dreamcast works pretty dam well for the price considering even a pi4 can’t run them all properly. My buttons on my unit work perfectly with no lag. The sticks could be upgraded I think. That’s the only thing I think feels slightly cheap. Btw the market place is pretty shocking and it is hard to find what you want but I have successfully downloaded a few games and made room for them by deleting some of the crappier n64 titles. Anyway just my 2 cents haha. It’s good for the price is what I’m saying. I enjoy blasting metal slug and street fighter. All I can say

Alex Castillo hi mate. You can add more games to usb if you jailbreak your unit with Pandory tool. (Search Pandory on here). I haven’t had any issues with my buttons at all. All feel responsive and haven’t broke yet so all good I think. You get a few spare buttons with the unit if you do have an issue. Hope this helps

I was under the impression from a site selling the 3D Pandora Box 18S that it allegedly offered online multiplayer to if possible play against human online opponents in SF2 style games etc, which would make it far more worth purchasing for me. Got an old Pandora's Box 5s a few years ago. MAME emulation is excellent. Only had a handful of problems with a select few games. But the menu navigation made it a totally joyless experience! I could spend 10 minutes scrolling through page after page, and end up playing nothing. Retropie is a far better route for a nicer tailored experience...

I have this and its def one of the better versions out there.

Just hold the configuration before you power the unit on, and it will cycle the available resolutions and aspect ratios.
Can you expand on that? I've tried this and it didn't work. The aspect ratio issue is the only minor issue I have with this
