I'm so torn. I love the Omni. Played many matches against it on DartCounter and it is absolutely fantastic. But I would really miss the math. I enjoy it so much as part of the joy of playing 501.
Is there any additional software or statistics after the match like heat maps ect? I'm interested but so far it just looks like a lot of money to take away the video feed and replace with shot markers
Yes! There is a full breakdown of your match stats aswell as heat maps for where your darts were thrown during the whole game, aswell as each individual leg.
I would only buy the omni if there where more practice games in the dartcounter app It shouldn't be that hard to add more practice games but maybe i am thinking wrong about this but thats just my opinion
What are the dimensions (width left to right) of the ring? .It looks quite a bit wider than the dartboard surround so i need to know if it will fit (on my door) before i place an order. Cheers
We haven't checked this out yet - but we are going to! Personally, we wouldn't recommend it due to the added weight causing a lot of wobbling which could throw off the accuracy.
How can you play online against other who don't have it? does it work? do they see my board? if I change a score, do they get to see the darts in the board or just hope that I'm not cheating?
Matchmaking functions in the same way as people without an Omni. We have tested it and it works perfectly. They don't see your board, unless you have an external camera connected at the same time.
@@doubletopdartshop. So I can connect a webcam and they my board but the system scores for me? Or they see the graphics of the OMNI? and when I correct the system, it shows them the board?
@@doubletopdartshop. 220 quid cheaper. Also you will have a plethora of problems in the first year with the Omni. 220 is a small price for a stable and trusted system...
its not about that. its about when your on your own, you don’t have to go out of your way to put scores in 😂 you want to be able to enjoy the game without having to constantly put scores in. like a real tournament
@@timothycharlton So it's not changing the game then, more like refining what scolia has done. It looks great and the fact that it's portable is very cool, for me I hate light ring systems so I wouldn't buy it but it does look very nice and clean and I like that it can link up with the virt and that it uses darts counter also, well done to target for creating this exciting eco system that is also reasonably priced 👏🏻
@ I agree. REFINING may be a better word choice. But this is a paradigm shift. Works with any boards. Self calibrates. Price point that is half. That is game changing-ish but not revolutionary. Word choice aside. This looks great and I bought one from the UK.

what does the subscription give you? is it necessary?
This looks so good. Might have to grab one of these!!
You should!
What’s the diameter of the ring ? Is it much bigger than the target halo light?
73.5cm horizontally.
Great video, can't wait for mine to arrive
Thanks! We hope you enjoy it!
better than scolia ?
Genial ist das man keine Löcher bohren muss sondern alles magnetisch ist.👍
👌
So you buy and it then after that you have to pay a monthly prescription to use it?

Mine has a flickering board light issue which I have now seen others commenting about.

There are many to choose from already - and I'm sure more will be added in the future!
hi mate does this work with a board that is mounted to a dart stand? very interested in buying but reluctant because of this. thanks in advance
Think it does mate Believe it just magnetically attaches. Shall confirm in the next few days when mine arrives
How is the TOR Board?
It's really great!
Hi how far out from the wall does this come?
Think the scoila is 41cm
Waited for over a yr mate doesn't work going back monday and buying scollia changingdarts was target for last 3yrs but buying noneof products again
What's the distance to the wall/board
Does it run along side virta at the same time
Yes! Seamlessly.

Left to Right width is 73.5cm. Thanks!
Do you see the thrower as well as the dartboard
U have to buy the virt cam too if u want people to see ur board and urself
@@MATiZ0R11so u have to pay 450 pound plus 250 pound for the throwers camara aswell ?
Can you show us heat map in app?
Does it integrate with the virt thanks.
Yes! They work perfectly together!
is there an option for Turnier playing in the app or just single online games?
greez
You can play offline!
i already Preorder :)
Great!
can i use omni with stand? does somebody know is it needed to have dartboard on wall to use omni
We haven't checked this out yet - but we are going to! Personally, we wouldn't recommend it due to the added weight causing a lot of wobbling which could throw off the accuracy.
I got one but reads wrong scores out all the time
How often does it get it wrong? I'm tempted to get one but on the fence.
When playing online do the cameras show your dartboard to the other person you’re playing, to help with cheating.

@@acesunion691 it just auto counts your score .. you don’t have to type it in basically everything else is the same
Looks nice, but so does the Scolia which I have. I'm sure it'll sell well if they don't over price it
Omni comes in at £449.95 which is considerably cheaper than the Scolia!

To bad its still 2 months away 😢

Spot on!
Oh great another generation of players who don't know how to chalk or count

cmon its 2024! old fashion chalk etc etc what for???!!
No need for chalk, whiteboards exist and are much easier and less messy, so do the "chalkie" digital counters which are extremely cheap
Shut up you nonce
I dont get it. Counting is the game.
Not everyone wants to count when playing casually
@@l_m9494 dropping 450 notes on something to play casually? Just learn to count and play the game....

How is it going to change the game? Scolia has already done that!!!
Scolia has a proprietary board and is super expensive. Bravo to Scolia for being the first to market but this is the next step

Dart counter..paid version. No chance
£4 a month or £30 for the year, not exactly budget breaking
@jamesm7721 its still overpriced, if it was £10 for the year it would be worth it
