That's why I kindly ask you to tell me is there any difference between these 2 sentences: 시험 보기 전에도 어려울 줄 알았어요. 시험 보기도 전에 어려울 줄 알았어요.

'I knew that it would be difficult (NOT ONLY)before the exam (BUT ALSO while studying/preparing or something like that.) 2. 시험 보기도 전에 어려울 줄 알았어요. -도 is used to exaggerate/stress! 'I knew that it would be difficult EVEN before the exam.‘ 이해했어요?
