What a beautiful plane.The 182 is my favourite of all cessnas.When I was in my teens,my family were passengers in PNG we flew in many of them.There isn’t much room in them,especially right at the back,and it was quite uncomfortable,but I still loved it,and was intrigued by them.Congrats on the flight mate,it was awesome,pity about the cameraman,but like you said,better than nothing(Bells Bridge,Via Gympie,Queensland,Australia)

I love the plane. It is a credit to you. Always great to see a scale model flown to scale. Well done. The camera man needs a couple more vodkas to stop him fiddling with the zoom!
This is one of the best scale planes I've seen. The engine sound is amazingly realistic. A 6-cylinder e nginewould be off-the-scale cool!

Beautiful aircraft...I have a Cessna 172 with a os pushrod engine, never figured out what cc but it glides,flies, and cruises with ease, with the regular valve adjustment it still runs strong
The pilot looks like he's not feeling too well after that flight, lol.

Beautiful plane...and my favorite factory Cessna scheme to boot. Seen 'em in blue and the red, but not personally seen one in gold.

Best looking RC Cessna I've seen, I really appreciate the realism and that power plant sounds great. I'm stuck flying foam RC's at the moment, wanting to build something like this but I'm too busy fixing the real ones.

Wow.. amazing plane! You should put a pan/tilt gimbal in the cockpit and connect it to a pair of goggles with a head tracker so people can go for "rides" in it. I did that with a much smaller model and my skyzone goggles and my father was giggling like a school girl taking in the scenery while i flew the plane around... of course being a smaller model i was also piloting the craft in FPV but the head tracking feature takes scale modeling to a whole new level

( Magnificent model ,great motor sound , amazing to see and ear! Thanks for sharing , and filming yet ! )

Mark Leonard Are you kidding me. I'm so glad you offered to work the camera or I wouldn't have any footage of the maiden flight at all. It's kind of funny, you can see the camera move off the shot as you look to see for yourself, lol. It's a compliment really, you just HAD to watch. I didn't put you in the credits because I didn't want anyone to flame you. I should have told you not to zoom also, we lost a lot to the zoom to far out. My bad. Thanks again Mark. : )

Top drawer ..the 4 stroke sound takes this scale model up to the next level ...the tinny " ring ding " of the usual 2 stroke in other large scale aircraft ruins the overall asthetic ..Well done .

It’s a long time ago since I sold it but I think it was about 75 lbs.

With a plane this nice, it would be worth hiring a professional videographer to capture a flight. You'd have wonderful footage forever.
David Oickle : Amen to that. Unfortunately this maiden flight was the only time this plane left the ground. It’s now hanging up on display in the man cave of the guy I sold it to. So technically I guess it left the ground twice and won’t be coming down again.

Very nice... The 182 has a very nice look about it that I can't quite put my finger on... I guess it's just the way the design seems to 'flow', no sharp corners if you see what I mean. Wish the cam guy could have caught that landing a bit better, but...

I've looked all over the web for specs on this motor and have come up empty... Any info you have about horsepower, torque, rpm range, weight, fuel burn, etc. would be much appreciated.
So far I'm thinking, though this is a gorgeous motor with a beautiful sound, it appears to weigh quite a bit for the horsepower output, and it costs a bundle.
