Yes, the procedure will work on most Hyundai models -not all. As for the fix lasting, that is not really in the cards. The overarching problem is Hyundai does not use the best possible touchscreen available and as a result, using the procedure above **will** have to be repeated over time.

The procedures will vary slightly based on the model year and the number and type of buttons on the control interface. Do you have the exact same model and year of Hyundai Sonata? The buttons and locations differ based upon the model year.
