I do want to try their new transmission coming out also and their thing they got to help hold the front end down that hooks to your Servo is fire I love that little deal
Look mark it down put it on your calendar I will put my mazz design cheat code against anything far as a truck that is now when we're talking about buggies that's a different story also mine is a hard body and like you just said you know it's easy to say that it's the best but have you tried them all like I got the EXO K2 chassis that is really really killer also but I turned it into like a sporting
I've heard a lot of stuff about the cheat code. I'd put it next to the LGRC LGC chassis. Which, honestly, still doesn't touch what the ALBN24 stuff can do. Those are Echo clones, for the most part. Those rigs are nasty. This one is just ridiculously solid with a shit ton of capability. It doesn't do everything but the 9 out of 10 I give it for performance is every bit above most of what's out there.
Great overview of the kit! Man, I really want to build one of these guys as well. I really enjoyed the LGRP Ripper build. I agree about fit and finish with their products. Big fan of the S8 axles too! Cheers!
I only wish I had been clued into these guys long ago. Yes, I do recommend getting your name on the list. Apparently, there is a Thanksgiving restock of the Comp Chassis coming up. If you can spring for it, don't hesitate! It is by far my favorite 24 build. It may not do what my ALBN24 rigs do, but I don't care. It's indestructible and that's what counts for me ;)
@@VermontScaleCustoms I'll have to be on the lookout for it coming up. -- You mentioned the LGRP cage as a milled option being pricey... made me think of the MEUS aluminum ripper. That is milled out of 1 block (the cage) with alum. body panels and was $260 or so. You pay for a lot of waste and machine time, but it sure is nice.
You can put metal panels on like i did on my yeti if you want the frame more exposed, and your already talking about it lol nevermind. That is the jam nice job looks awesome!
It’s looking good! How would you compare the billet vs printed sliders as far as sliding over rocks? Also, besides the lateral sidewall compliance of the 1.8’s what other benefits have you experienced? I hear you on the smaller 3S batteries, the size is great but run time is terrible!
I'd say it sticks a little more than a 3D printed plastic but it's minimal. I notice more hangup with the brass axles than anything. On the 1.8, it's the leverage in uphill turning and added clearance / reach. It certainly takes a minute to get used to running with them. I really feel like 1.4" is probably the best wheel size and still be able to maintain sideall compression, etc. When the 1.8 came out everyone kid of simultaneously agreed that the tires available at the time weren't sufficiently sized. Some guys are doing cut-n-shut versions now and it makes so much more sense.
Dont worry about being late to the game. I got into the scx24. When they first came out. And took a 3 year break. And just getting back into it. LGRC should come out with a complete kit. Like they do with 1/10 scale. Anyway, i looking to build the same. Everything comes together with the LGRC parts.
I caught the initial wave of SCX24 right when it started. I built this channel on simple howto videos like doing paint mods on the all white rubicon and mounting stamped steel beadlocks when no one knew how yet. What I meant was that I had missed the initial wave of LRGP trucks. I saw people raving about them but I never paid any attention. I stepped away from SCX24 for a short period of time because of all the fast stardom guys like 2FMRC got so quickly. That shit pissed me off. Single camera angle, just talks every time, zero editing, and just builds truck on top of truck day after day. Get's thousands of views. Meanwhile, I'm out trudging through the wilderness to bring people some realistic looking scale content and I get 6 f'n likes and 57 views. And I'll be damned if that shit doesn't still go on! Yeah, LGRP is good. they make legit stuff. They came from a larger scale market which is why. They weren't a kid with an idea that has a Shapeways account.
the whole thing weighs a mere few grams. It places a minimal amount of weight above the shock towers. Honestly, once it's bolted to the chassis, it's so solid that you definitely don't notice it. These trucks are comp proven. They definitely have a long list of wins. But I'm also not competing. I just wanted a badass early 90's Toyota body on a crawler made of metal at this scale.
And I'm just teasing you like I like first just shooting the ball you know I will put it up against anything though I believe right now there is so many great chassis out there like I still haven't tried Acres engineering is gecko but I do have his you rock chassis and it is fire another one I have not tried is the hard Goblin from hard Park I just got to take your time obviously to build these I already have eight rigs but and I'll do fairness I have seen stuff on the tube of dudes doing stuff and I have seen some drinks do some really remarkable things but I have seen mine to insane like that's like J concept tires you know I'm going to push them because I feel like they're the best I do like RC four-wheel drive Scramblers 65 mm pins injora has some really great truck tires
Yeah, so much stuff came out so fast that it was impossible to keep up with all of it despite feeling like it was necessary. Man, I've spent literal multiple thousands on 24 scale comp rigs in the last year. It's crazy! I need to chill a little and run what I have :)
Looks really good but you can't hear you and I have a earpiece on so you would think I can hear you even better

Yeah, the potion of 4 different gear ratios has tons of appeal. They will sell out fast so move quickly!

By the way bro I love your vids
Thank you! I appreciate that you watch and comment on them. It's always good to know people are tuning in.
That looks sick dude. Just added 58mm injora shocks to my trxrm. Lots more travel, wish I could send you sum pics
I've been looking at some longer travel shocks for a couple of other rigs. I'm sticking with the Carisma for now on this. They work really well.
Love the cage beneath the body. Gives a comp truck some realism..
Same here! I got it because I guarantee I would have cracked the lexan body by now. It helps a ton.

@@bcochener I hear they have a whole list of stuff coming out that I better start saving for now.
cool chassis and awesome rc's
Thanks! Thing is truly amazing!

Yeah, this thing is sick! Loving the look. and if I trash the body, I'll have some panels made up in the meantime. It shouldn't take much at all.

Two beautys! 👍
Thank you! I wish it were easier for you to get ahold of LGRP stuff. It's impressive, to say the least.
Hello, Big Like!👍💯
Greetings Seven🖖
Thank you, Seven!🖖😎
Looks great dude and I'm rough on mine so a cage is something to consider
Oh, man. It's amazing. So much more solid. Glad I went with it. I was going to try and see if I could get by without it. Nope!
Great rig👍💪✅️
I drove it last night on some new stuff I added to the course. Stay tuned!💪💪

Wonder how many people are going to say if it is a cop rig why would you put that weight up high for as the cage I can only imagine dude saying that
