Tim Dillon is casually hilarious, and a fantastic longform guest because he's willing to go down any rabbit hole in a conversation while still being able to seamlessly change the subject.
Spot on! And look how much he has grown and how many fans he’s gained. I’ve also been a fan for years and he sooo deserves where he is at and going at the moment. Unique, smart, talented, can riff off anything, and add in that dark humor and it’s perfection.

What Tim is saying in that time stamp you posted, is nothing new. But there's a generational thing going on here. Tim is just 5 years younger than me. And I can remember a time as a kid when divorce was known but not a lifestyle. Basically, a lot of younger people today have been raised in a single-parent home and never knew what it was like to have both mom and dad around. Important building blocks to a personality.

Who’s here in April 2021? So fun to go back and see how now Tim went from having a Russian roommate, who might or might not know Bert from his college trip, before the pandemic. To renting a huge house in Austin and is now one of the top comedians in the game. Just goes to show how some thrive during chaos while others crumble cause they can’t adapt. Also right before Berts special drops. Which was great btw.

I turned on my radio last night while I was going to bed and sure enough there is Alex Jones talking about the vaccines going down the rabbit holes of conservative conspiracies. The theories are absolutely crazy but it’s so incredibly entertaining, couldn’t turn it off because he’s a real show. The guy is compelling for purely entertainment purposes. I know he’s out of his mind but it’s fun to listen to.

1:19:54 is why I listen to Tim's Patreon/RUclips for 6 hours a day sometimes. My speculation is that he's not afraid to peel the layers back where bert is so layered due to his addictions. His addiction to drinking is to escape his fear of facing the haunting objective reality that Tim so comedically conquers. Sobriety can be a high when dissecting truths in the political sociological landscapes through raw sober eyes and the fire of a sober soul seeking purpose or any hint of explanation. I'm with torch-on-the-porch Santino in that there comes a time to graduate drugs and become an adult (paraphrase from a Theo ep). I only bring this up because people need to understand how great life can be without drugs and how misery is unavoidable but you can speculate how that misery feels and objectively feel it.. taking the power away from the feeling. If we could all look at the world this way maybe we could make it better.
I realize my comment is kind of gay and also that Bert is a person too. I just wish some people could do better and I wish that line I highlighted above didn't just blow over Bert's head the way it did. I know it's complicated but maybe if we all do better there won't BE kids in cages.
