Dedicates his time, can’t make fun of that
Lost respect for Rick after that sad kill Tony debut
They say don’t meet your hero’s , prime example
I would never
@@craigc9922100% agreed. The dude needs to lay off the booze some.
thats one thing i would never do
Did not expect to have Ric Flair make me cry today.
This was not what I expected to feel when I opened this video.
Yeah it got me too, I think we all have someone close to us that left too soon.
i was surprised he went on here after teh whole kill tony thing. that was lame as hell really disappointing that ric flair acted like that lol
@@anthonyrodriguez7563 OK I just watched the 30/30 on Ric Flair and he made me cry again, so he made me cry twice today was not expecting that
I'm with you on that.. I loved Ric before this and now, I'm just more amazed at him even more
"I don't eat". That's one hell of a start to the episode.
He doesn't drink either 😂
Alcoholics don't eat.
@@curtissmith795 Yes we do. We just don't usually make it to Ric Flairs age.
When I was in college, I drove a car service and I chauffeured him around Detroit for 15 hours. The man truly did not eat. He did his marijuana dispensary visits to promote his product, went straight to his hotel bar and started boozing it up with 45 year old Delta flight attendants
@@curtissmith795why don’t they genuine question im young but am aware that it kinda is like weed in the sense that foods great for you under the influence
“I don’t eat cause my stomachs a mess had a 5% chance to live” proceeds to drink numerous beers every time I see him on something 😂
You can live without food for a while. Not without water lol. I thought the same thing
Everyone used to say bert is horrible at interviews, but he kept this thing emotional, professional, and the wheels on the track. Great episode!
@@363.2McMasters so watcha here for buddy?
A wrestler from the 70s (Ric flair especially) is about the easiest interview you could imagine. Just sit there and let Ric do his thing
I agree with the comments here so far, but Burt seems like a decent guy. I would feel comfortable talking to him about heavy stuff.
One thing’s certain. He’s horrible at stand up comedy.
Bert interviews himself.
What an episode. And Sammy boy was the perfect other guest the chemistry was great and Sam wasnt bullshitting with fake empathy or cracking bad taste jokes when it got serious. Awesome stuff. WOO!
Bert and Sam being there for Ric when he told the story about losing his son was a beautiful moment. Props fellas
28:30 Ric Flair, Gary Busey, John Candy and David Copperfield boozing in Chicago is a movie that NEEDS to be made
Gonna be hard to get Candy to show up, lol
@@Lost_n_Found_1 yea he may be alot thinner and a bit stiff.
Comments are Turned Off or There is no room for new comments. I Grow Cannabis I'd Love to see Ric Flair Try some of my Stuff Damn 😆 be a Honor to Smoke with him
Ric Flair, Gary Busey, John Candy and David Copperfield walk in to a bar.... No punchline...😅
Bro Sam not knowing how to use tongs but has his own whiskey is the most New York thing ever!
it was a funny scene but those fancy cubes can be knuckle heads with tongs lol.
@OutlawEl24New Yorkers literally know nothing about the rest of the world. Sad Really
@@sevironside4073 you're ignorant af lol. you realize he's seen much more of the U.S. than you ever will right?
Bert, Sam, and Rick Flair - who expects tears?
This is a WOW episode
Ric*
Flairs a drunk. Boo Hoo.
@@rolablox1009shut up you weirdo
When two narcissistic alcoholics meet, tears usually follow.
Man, this one. This one hits. Much respect to Rick Flair for sharing and to Sam and Burt for being real.
So true. What a great interview I was not expecting and Rick flair rules. Sam is always great. Thanks Berty Boy for this episode. 🙌🏼
Awesome one. Haha bert licked his fingers and proceeded to touch every piece of food he plated at around 36 min. That is def my move as well😂😂😂😂
Awe this was so heartfelt and having Leann all excited made it even better!
Love Ric being real. Bert way to treat a legend.
I can't believe Bert kept it together, I'm tearing up.
I can't get over Sam's struggle with the ice 😂
Bro was riding the struggle bus 😂
@@dcarter540 he's too used to his fancy ice tongs. The salad tongs killed me, "fuck this I'll use the stupid big spoon"
The zoom in had me dead
Lol, true!
He’s legitimately hungry and wants to eat that delicious meal . Poor skinny guy.
I’ve heard Ric Flair tell the story about his son 4x, it doesn’t get any easier to listen to, and still chokes me every time. When I first heard it in his 30 for 30, it was the 3rd time I ever saw my father cry and he hasn’t cried since.
Dutch Mantel brought me here.
Me also !
Same
Me too
Drunk Sam consoling Ric is worth the watch
Ric Flair Whooo! Seriously opened up, that was amaze. Awesome pod
@@thesnapperlapper2559 I love that he was able to go from flamboyant Ric to telling the story about his son which broke my heart. It reminds everyone that so many of us have our own issues going on no matter our lot in life.
Ric delivering one of the best moments in podcast history.
One of the worst comedy podcast moments I saw 😂
@@Downes_Indromeshut up hater
WUT. tf podcasts do you watch? 💀
@@THCMusicBlog the one where a man opened up about the pain he has from his son dieing? Maybe take thc out ur name and smoke some. Heartless bastard
You’re talking about sams promo right?
God damn, I've never seen a interview with Ric Flair that didn't get awkward. Bert did a fucking awesome job at keeping Ric still in it even after the crying. This was great.
Lol he’s 104 it’s expected at this point really 😅
Was lookin for a way to give bert props and you nailed it.
There’s a lot of cuts in the video 😂
The man is haunted and masks his pain until the alcohol let's it out. It's really very sad. Hell of a career, though.
Loved Ric on Kill Tony… that man can really take a joke!😂
He dedicated his time, can’t make fun of that. I respect that😂 but they cut out when he was ranting about Asians or Asian pussy
😂 that's all I kept thinking about, that was awful.
Don't ever make fun of someone who volunteers their time! 😂😂
@@swarlesthe13th BRUH XDDDDDD he was such a crybaby on KT
he was also black out wasted lolol think he did much better here
By far, the best Something's Burning ever. When Rick cried., we all cried. Thank God Rick is still with us and he sticks around as long as possible.
That promo was flawless. And this episode should be stored in the vault
I agree, put in a vault and never shown again
you should be embarrassed for Ric
The Dirty Dutchman sent me here.
That bastige sent me here, too
Love all of y'all, Ric is the man. Had me laughing from humor and crying from sadness. He truly has a heart of gold. Thank you for this.
I love this because I know Soder is about to geek out with Sam on a pod about this at some point! Need soder with flair when he comes on WMBD!
You don’t think Dan’s little boy energy will be off putting to Ric?
This man respects time. Not food... but definitely time. Bort still makes a plate for him to just sit there... you know he ate it later
He sat there texting for a nice chunk of time, doesn't feel like he was respectful of everyone else's time then
@@aardengIt's a joke about how he spoke about time on KT, lol
@@Lost_n_Found_1 ahhh okay. I tried to forget that trainwreck lol
But really weed though😬😅
@@aardeng lol
Fully redeemed himself from the Kill Tony debacle. I feel bad for him, but also grateful he’s sharing his experience. It shows that chasing the high life and fame is fleeting, and all that truly matters is who we have around us in the end.
Yeah no
Dude should stay off comedy podcasts, does nothing but bring the energy down
Sits on his phone like a toddler
As a wrestling fan its so amazing seeing people fan girl over one of the goats
Ric and Bert still drinking after hospital visits 😳
Burt u have done it again sir hands down will not miss an episode of somethings burning the authenticity of ur interviews are amazing
33:23 Ric Flair is purple
Cmon man give him a break after that!
Burt you make so many people feel safe and at ease around you. I love it! Great episode! ❤
Came over from Dutch podcast....
Storytime Ask Dutch Anything
This was a great guest spot for Ric, all good vibes.
Definitely the best episode of something’s burning and probably going to get the most views, if there’s any love in the world
I love that The Nature Boy is opening up and letting his heart out after all the crazy shit he's been through. Thank you so much for sharing you soul with us!! 💚
Wow this got deep outta nowhere, best episode yet wooooo!!
I always listen when Ric speaks
Unlike Bert
He's an embarrassing old pisshead.
houdini is such a slick burn
100% respect. For Rick Flair You made me cry Sir
Cant imagine what you had to cut. You should release that with the Ari episode.
Love getting to see the man who can never make fun of time.
Omg amazing episode when rick talks about regret
Whoooo! Looking forward to seeing more Rick Flair in podcasts
I love this show bc Bert's kindness and welcoming personality help people feel good. It's a bit like therapy at times, other times, it's so funny I snot on myself. This show helps people. In this case, I think Ric sharing that story for the first time helped him. And his buds supported him and helped him a bit.
Fuck dude it broke my heart to see Ric break down like that. No parent should have to bury their children.
I agree, but he's obviously drowning his sorrows with alcohol.
Awesome show. Ric thank you for sharing! Tough as a dad to hear. Thank you for sharing your self through the years. Grew up watching.
Bert ehh not bad. Thanks to all.
THE BEST podcast i have ever seen. thank you.
Rick Flair a true legend!
Ric thank you for sharing ❤
Yeah that got me a bit. I definitely didn’t expect that after Kill Tony but so glad I did.
Omg BERT love this 😂
I'm one of the kids that got to see him wrestle in person. Nothing like standing right by the aisle and having him walk by and slap your hand. More importantly I love his accountability. He doesn't shy away from his own mistakes. He owns them. I wish more people could do that.💯💯
Thank you for letting me know I still have emotions! 😢 WOOOO!!!
"Nobody teaches you how to be a dad. We do the best job we can, and we all fuck up." WOOOO, that got me!
Thank you Rick. Thank you all. Not a wrestling fan but always knew the legend of the nature boy. Wooo!!!
. Thank you for being so open and raw. True legend and human. Respect.
Mr. Flair is always a gentleman. I loved when he "SHOOK" Sam's hand, instead of a stupid fist bump...
Always a gentleman? Do you know ANYTHING about Ric Flair? smfh
Got to the guitar ending, Whoooo❤😂
Wow. This was moving, funny, emotional, and amazing. Thank you guys! Thank you Rick, you are a Legend.
Ric is one hell of a Father,Wrestlers and all around man. Wish the best for Ric's and everyone's families.
I respect Bert a lot more for being so knowledgeable about wrestling & being so gracious to Ric Flair…
This is everything I hoped it would have been! Legendary! 😂🙌🏼
Best episode of Something's Burning thus far. Ric Flair will always be the man
Thank you so much for posting this! I needed this! 💙🙏😭
L♥️VE…..Bodega 🥃 Cat!!!
Congrats Sam & Mark
I just love watching Sam!!!! He’s amazing
one of the best episodes i have ever seem. Ric is a Legend.
Bert absolutely smashed this ep! What amazing respect for the a legend!
Wow!! The legend!! That’s Bert!
Ric's drinking, only a matter of time before he starts crying and thinking about Reid.
You’re just a sad person. It has nothing to do with alcohol. You obviously haven’t lost anyone that you care about yet. Or maybe you’re just a sad person like I said.
@@MrPde27 You're obviously new to this, every time Ric makes a public appearance and starts drinking, he brings up Reid and starts crying. Every public appearance for a decade. I've seen it with my own eyes almost a dozen times because he was filmed doing it at appearances a dozen times, and I've also heard about it happening dozens of times more.
I didn't say that it was a bad thing, or that I didn't understand. I'm just acknowledging that it ALWAYS happens whenever he's drunk or even buzzed in public.
@@chikowashereso your saying a guy who lost his son gets emotional and cry’s when he thinks about it? Sly still chokes up talking about his son. It’s your child and only a parent can understand that kind of pain. Btw, he’s not drunk just old. It happens to people at 75 who partied hard and put their bodies through hell for us fans for 40+ years. You’re right I am new to people like you.
He got Riley too?
Dame that tugged at my heart strings.
One of your best, Bert. Not nearly what was expected, but so powerful. Now I have to go hug my kids.
Sam fighting for his life trying to scoop some ice 😂
absolutely legendary interview...one of the best videos on RUclips
Ric Flair having a heart attack then partying all night with Kid Rock is legendary.
Bert that was hands down the best episode yet. Ric is so genuine. Didn't expect to cry watching this one. Thank you to him and to you
Bert, thank you for having Ric Flair! This was such a good show. Not only did we get to see Ric, but we got to see Richard Fliehr in a vulnerable state too. That was strong for sharing, thank you so much!!!
People wonder what's going on with Ric, he lives with pain that isn't physical and can still promo like a fkn boss!!! Love all 3 of u gentleman!!!
@@robeycoyote1589 he is a sad alcholic and sucks

Bert's eyes when Rick told the story almost got the tears out
"Yep, don't single one out" is WILD lmao
Best podcast ever
I watched this a few days ago and forgot to comment. I wasn't expecting to cry watching Something's Burning. Especially with Ric Flair on it. Rics story about his son who he lost hit me harder than a ton of bricks. I lost my son's mother in 2019. It never gets easier but sharing in that pain is kind of cathartic. I want to thank Ric from the bottom of my heart thank you for sharing your story. ❤
This is one of the best podcast episodes I’ve watched. Rics story was a dagger in the heart. Those stories are important for people to hear, it can help them fix what they could regret in the future
Great episode Bert!
Thank you so much Ric for sharing ❤
I've always admired Ric. When I found out about his son I knew it was heavy. My family loves wrestling and has invested into there lives and history. It's hard to explain that pain. It's supernatural.
I don't eat, proceeds to drink beer 😅

Much love!!!!! My favorite one yet!!! Thanks bert!
Hands down the best episode! Had me crying like a baby! Keep being great, all of you! What a legend Rick is! ❤🎉😢
I WILL NOT! MAKE FUN OF TIME! 😂
omg Burt one of the best interviews period on all social i watched in the last 20 yrs frfr for person’ reasons
Damn Bart! I was not expecting this. Your best pod/interview… by far.
Yes! The Rick is the only guy alive Bert can't outdrink!!!!!
Lol. I was at Paisanos( pizza spot in Gainesville ) a few months ago when Rick Flair got thrown out for going off on some scrub bartender who didn't know who he was. What a legend!!
