What goes up must come down, seems the springboks have a juniors problem and it’s already evident with selections. SARU will collapse and lose all public trust if it doesn’t make an immediate u turn! SARU cannot exist in stellenbosch much longer… if juniors go private in a club scene it will virtually collapse the schooling system and SARU
I am still amazed how the Springboks with a useless coach were is a mess at the end 2017 with a 7 rating on the world log...and then Rassie came in early 2018 & suddenly turned the whole team around to WIN THE 2019 WORLD CUP 1.5 years later!! Rassie then continued to win the the 2023 rugby World cup and he continues with his win!! Wow...I wish our politics and politicians can get a leader like Rassie!! 🏉👊
@@WatchRugby24 Agreed...the RIGHT leader is sooo important !! PS: "Siya" Kolisi, the springbok captain also went to the same school as he in PE - Grey High School!!
alot has change when Rassie come in especially on communication and how the structure and the freedom of choosing players. Rassie become the director of rugby unlike before decisions were made and needed to go to various structure.
There were other challenges in 2016 and 2017. Saru appointed a committee to select players, coaches had no power. In addition international players weren't eligible for selection. Erasmus put a condition for his appointment to be allowed to select his players and abolished the international player restriction.
It was not only Rassie, it was the whole team, everybody. He was born for a day such as today. And today it is not the end but the start of a new chapter
Rasie did it! Many didn’t even believe we could have a multicultural team with actually deserving players! Many didn’t believe a white Afrikaans speaking coach could build such a team; but as soon as politics and politicians stepped back and gave this man a chance, suddenly magic happened! This is how you build teams, with a patriotic master technician whatever their race, who will not compromise on quality while remaining focused on the bigger objective of building a national team, a real team of the nation! Well done to you Mr Erasmus, well done Mr Kolisi, and well done to the soldiers who make the Springbok!!! Rugby is OUR game! Stronger together…with Rasie at the helm!
And don't forget the thrill for me is remembering him grind for the Cheetahs. Little did he know he was bringing a whole new hope to a tremendous nation. We love you Rassie. Keep on keeping on broer
Beautifully truthfully delivered. This year Rassie used 49 Springboks, including matches v Wales and Portugal. Quite fenominal and making as much as 10 changes twice and creating a big pool of experience. Since NZ kicked out their brothers Argies and SA Mr Mark Alexander and Co. did a wonderful job. Then their are quite a number brilliant youngsters which Rassie will incorporate before W Cup 2027 to get them battle hardend !!!!
