Well, I didn’t think there was any way to improve possibly my favorite arrangement of yours...yet you have done just that! The addition of the flute and muted trumpet parts were genius!!! Even the saxophone parts seem more “lush”...the whole thing just feels more full and lively, which is saying a lot considering how awesome the original cover is! Bravo!

This is probably my favorite song from D/P/PT, I have such a vivid memory of when I first heard it. I was about 8 years old, I was sitting in this little nook behind our couch with some pillows and blankets at night, and I had always struggled with these games because I was never quite sure where to go, I even restarted my save like two or three times prior because I thought I was stuck haha. But I finally made my way through the caves for the first time and ended up in this beautiful snowy canyon and it honestly felt like a dream, and this song just added so much to that experience. I still get chills when I hear this song, no pun intended. Thank you Carlos, you did a pristine job, always excited to hear more! :)
This is absolutely brilliant Carlos! Your 2016 version of route 216 was always one of my favourites because it really nailed the atmosphere that the environment and music provided me as a kid. I have fond memories of playing through this route on pokemon platinum during a rare December snowstorm whilst sitting next to the fireplace in my house with the Christmas tree lights. It's great to see some of your old classics getting the modern insaneintherain arranging treatment!

The amount of detail that's gone into these is absolutely staggering. The grandiose, atmospheric qualities to the covers of the snowy areas really capture the feeling/essence of Winter. It's able to take me to that place everytime. I guess you could call this a warm-welcomed Christmas in July!

I love both covers of this song, and if I were remake dppt, I’d actually use both of them. The original cover would be put over route 216 and Acuity lakefront because one can appreciate a little less going on before and after the storm. Route 217 would get this, still the same song but with the full cast of instruments giving a grander feeling for battling through a blizzard. I imagine a seamless shift when walking into a different area would encapsulate the lengthy journey that is traveling from just one city to another in a gen iv game. This is great work man!

I like how that route was the toughest one you had to undergo and man when you get to Snowpoint you feel tired but man you did it. This song just conveys that. Thank you so much so bringing it back like this.

Thanks! I'm happy with the new mic too. The previous Blue Bluebird sounded good enough, but this one has a bit better of a low-mid frequency response.
