Texas Spur 406 - Amistad National Recreation Area

Our visit and stay in Texas to see the Eclipse was a rather surreal experience in more than one way...I try to convey that feeling in this video of Texas Spur 406 Campground in the Amistad National Recreation Area. Billy Goats and a Road Runner are the stars in this dreamy flick. Something the camera cannot convey is the strange weather...90 degrees and 10% humidity one day and by that evening it's blowing and 75% humidity and 95 degrees the next day. I hope you all enjoy!

Thanks as always K...this place I liked a lot...the weather made it feel real strange tho being an arid desert environment and yet have some days with so much humidity...

@@abirhossen3361 the crazy weather....very humid one day like on the east coast and then dry desert air like you'd expect there combined with the abundant wildlife was all sort of unexpected for me....we just needed a place to hang out to see the Eclipse and got a lot more :)
