I used to make SS cups back a couple of years ago and i used this method and i loved it! ufortunatly my asthma goes wonky when i use resin even with a mask on!😔😔i miss it so much! i had a good little business going for a while :( i love that color combo with the gold!
I've been following along and things look GREAT. THANKS! Question: After my glasses are completely cured for 72hrs, I'm still able to make a scratch in the top resin coat.. It takes some work, but if you were to toss them in the sink and dink around or whatever, you could scuff them. So, is there a tougher top coat to use? I've been using Casting resin from Lets Resin. It's not a huge deal, but I would like to sell these without a disclaimer of sorts. Is this just the way it is using resin on a glass/tumbler? Very durable, but Hand wash and Care are then required to keep these in top form? *If theres anyway to make them non scuff-able I'm all ears! Thanks!
KS Resin Liquidy Split is ROCK HARD after 48 hours. It’s still very possible to scratch it if you ding it around, but much more durable than any other rein I have tried. I just tell people to hand wash, and treat it like your granny’s china.
This is awesome, I was only thinking that by spshing some pure alcohol on the colour, it will thin and spread. You will need to place your camera lower though for these shots. It would have been great to see the magic happen!☺️ I wonder if also using a straw to bow the resin once you add the alcohol would create something great too!
Very beautiful! Going to show my wife so she can give these a try other than tumblers all the time lol..and she can buy the wine glasses from the" dollar store " lol and add colors and make beautiful art. But these are amazing!! For sure.
I just love how you show all your process well what I could see lolhaha joke I understood what you where saying 😊 thank you! There beautiful!! I'm going to order a glass turner now 😁
Love these! Just bought 2 spinners and my first 2 stemless wine glasses are spinning "as we speak." My question is, how do I know if I added too much iso alcohol and will need to apply a layer.of resin once dried? TIA
The alcohol will evaporate pretty quickly, but too much on the resin could prevent it from curing properly. If you resin all the way to the top, where your lips would be, you really should put another topcoat on. While the resin is food safe, additives like inks are not. Have fun!
@ACoastalMagnolia oh, my gosh! I love mine! They turned out perfectly. I was worried that I'd applied too much iso, but there was just a small amount that wiped away up around the top edge. They dried beautifully. They're still a bit soft on the bottoms, as a lot of ink and resin naturally pooled there on the spinner. I assume that area will harden and cure in time? Thanks for your great videos. I've done quite a lot with resin and acrylic paints, including wine glass bottoms, but I wasn't a fan of how mine turned out. But, these stemless glasses done with alcohol ink ON wet resin is a WINNING technique! I assume you recommend hand-washing only?
we have those stemless wine glasses at dollar tree, I'll pick some up next time I go. curios, how do you price them for craft fairs? I would also like to try dripping silicon oil on the inks/resin to see what effect that makes. silicon oil in resin makes some interesting details.
I think these are beautiful and elegant! Grammar 101: You should capitalize your “L” and ad an “s” to your word “look” so you don’t look illiterate the next time you make an ugly and quite unnecessary comment. OR you can continue to display this rude behavior and the original poster can appreciate that it just boosted the video in the algorithm. 😉
They are beautiful. You could always tape the top of the glass above the resin line
Thank you!

@ACoastalMagnolia I guess I just let them spin for 8 hours and touch/wipe lightly to see if any of the inks come off.
They should not come off. Be careful wiping until the resin is fully cured.

yippee! The resin around the bottom will firm up. It’s just because it is thicker. Yes, hand wash only! So glad they turned out for you!

Shut the front door! Now you know I have to try silicone next…lol.
I price them $15 each or 2 for $25, which is a good price point in my area.
Hi! Love your work. So you have a link for the dropper bottles ? Can’t seem to find them with that long, fine tip
I think so! Let me look.
FOUND IT! amzn.to/4blMf7H
I love it thank you
I'm glad you like it!
How are you getting the Poole noodles to fit on your pvc pipes? The Poole noodles are to wide for mine
Rubber shelf liner in between! works great
How much do you charge for the glasses?
Thank you!
between $10-15
Are these hand wash only or can they go into the dishwasher top shelf?
hand wash is best.
May I ask how much do these sell for at craft shows
$15 for one, 2 for $25.
How do theses sell for you? I think they are beautiful
Thank you! I normally sell out!
How much do you charge for the glasses?
$15-20
Are these safe to drink from?
100%. Resin is on the outside, and I don’t resin to the rim anyway. KS Resin is food safe once fully cured too.
How much so the glasses cost?
I sell one for $15 and 2 for $25. People rarely buy 1!
If you use those.. how do you wash them??!
Most likely by hand
Yep, wash by hand.
Very hard to see what you’re doing 😢.
sorry about that. I’ll improve the camera angles.
Meh.
🤷🏻♀️
look like they are from the dollarstore, tacky
I think these are beautiful and elegant!

Awe bless your heart
Thank you for the feedback. I’ve seen some pretty cute things at Dollar Tree. Cheers!
@3BoardChicks 💯Don't you just love ignorant people? Probably jealous they can not afford to have this hobby.
