I saw this video. I love how you explained the step by step. I never thought of adding color to the resign that's genius. I truly know how you feel. There's also a joann next to my grocery store. It's hard not to go into the store. By the way , I also shop at the temu. Not everything is good quality, but I work around it to make it work. Thank you so much. we appreciate you.
great work! I have found that the resin is slipping down the stem...what are you doing to prevent that...I do live in an ultra warm climate (Costa Rica) so not sure if that is the issue - I thought about rubbing vasaline around the bowl base
Thank you! A thin resin will do that, because the spin of the glass pulls it down to the stem. I use a fast set KS Resin Liquidy Split and I generally don’t have that issue. If you are using a thin resin, maybe let it sit up for 30 minutes?
Hi, I love your video. You explain every detail so well that anyone would be able to make these, thank you. I have a question, you replied anywhere from 10 to 20 dollars? Is that for each, or for a pair?
The resin I use, KS Resin, is food safe. I resin on the outside of the glass, and often do not resin all the way to the top. it’s Incidental contact at best.
That is a rally great question and i plan on addrsssing that in a future video. This info is straight from the KS Resin web site: KSRESIN products are FDA Compliant (FDA 21 CFR 175.300) when accurately measured, thoroughly mixed, and fully cured. Please review and follow our instructions closely. We do not recommend using cured epoxy resins with alcohol (e.g. shot glasses, wine glasses), for hot foods, or for use on cutting boards. I use the resin on the outside of the glass, and curate them for several weeks before I sell them at an art show. I have full confidence in this resin.
Working my way through your videos. The pulsing of the turners was very clever!
Turned out so pretty.❤
Thank you! Pulsing the turner is a great way to move that resin

Beautiful glasses! Do you topcoat them with clear resin at some point?
Sometimes, but on this set I didn’t.
Very cool.
These are so so gorgeous. Do you not have to put a top coat of resin on them?
thank you! You can, but it’s not necessary.
Lovely ❤ ❤❤
Beautiful glasses! May I ask you where can I buy the turning machine you use to make them from?
Thank you! Here is the turner I bought from Amazon. I love it!

Love your work do you sell them on line thinking of gifts
I sell locally at art and crafts shows. But I have been thinking of a website
Omg these are absolutely gorgeous. I am new to resin and thought that it is toxic. Are these glasses safe to drink from?
Resin is perfectly safe! I use KS Resin, and it is food safe.

Thanks so much! That price is each, on average.
Do you add finish resin coat? Or is that all you do?
I do not top coat.
Is it safe to use epoxy on wine glasses? Ive heard that it isnt but cant find any real information out there.

Is the resin food grade?

Loved you glasses but you caption is hard to see and trouble understanding you. ❤
Thank you, I am getting better!
May I ask how much you earn from these?
hi there! In my area, I charge from $10-20 depending on the detail on the glass.
