Back in my day when there was no texting and men were men, we picked up a phone and called women. I called them at 10pm before they go to bed. If they picked, they were interested; if they didn't, they probably thought it was creepy calling them in the evening.

I would suggest that your method only works is she doesn't already have a life.
However, assuming she's a normal adult, job, family, friendship group, maybe kids of her own (I'm 47 so most if the women who ping my radar have kids and a job etc) then she's a busy person.
I want a woman who compliments my life and in return I expect that I should compliment hers.
Personally I wouldn't play hard to get (I'm not the prize, a fulfilling and loving relationship is the prize), but I would be open and honest and be able, if asked, to explain that for me the purpose of dating is to decide if we want a relationship together and to get to the rejection early so as to not waste each other's time, energy and resources.

You touched upon it here, but have you done a video on identifying what your values are so that you can find someone who shares them? (That's how my girlfriend and I work so well together - we both knew what we considered important in a partner, so when we found each other and discovered all the values we shared, we both realised we'd found our respective other halves.)

This is good information Anna ❤ I usually prefer to call a woman over the phone over text message because you can finish the conversation faster unless they're busy then I will leave a text message to them. There are women who I have came across who don't like to talk on the phone but rather text than talk on the phone
A lot of younger women prefer texting because that’s what they’re used to and haven’t learned the skills of verbal communication, but there’s still a place for a well time phone call or voice message. Whether texting or talking on the phone, you’re better to limit both and meet in person sooner than later whenever possible.

No pain, no gain, aint that what your forefathers preached?
One must determine their individual limits for amount of work invested. I tend to agree with you- a relationship that was meant to be should not be labor-intensive. It works, or it doesn't. That's all.
You're not going to force a relationship, naturally. But I think the information Anna is trying to impart has more to deal with what to do to give you the best chance of not putting the girl off by accidentally doing something you shouldn't (being too eager, needy, creepy, etc) or not doing something you should have. Ultimately it's not about guaranteeing results which no one can really do, rather giving you the best odds of actually having a shot.
Lots of things that are worthwhile take effort. You don’t go to the gym once in are fit for life. Having said that, you get to choose what is worth your time and energy.
Her advised does not work. All of it is a series of steps that make you look desperate, willing to take her abuse as long as you can pay for a date. Absurdity.
So, everyone texts in our modern world because everyone use smartphones and computers. Lot of the time we come to know about women through social media, but nothing will replace the in person conversation and you said it right that we use texts for information not conversation. I don't have more to say about this because I already text with many women. It is hard because sometimes I think the more we text then the more we believe that we are receiving texts from a system rather than a person. You look very beautiful today Anna, but you look more beautiful when you are modest. I just shared my opinion Anna.

Some people do nothing but texting. They are afraid of actually having a real live conversation. There are too many ways to interpret texts.
Stop with the childish text messaging. 40 years ago there was no such thing as texting. You called her she got on the phone. Stop letting her play these childish games. You text her she see the message immediately then plays games by making you wait for a response. I tell these women I don't do text messaging relationships. If you are too busy to get on the phone you're too busy for the relationship. They're texting more than 1 guy. It's a game. Since it's up to men to initiate the courting it's up to him to decide what the mode of communication is. Stick to it and you'll know whether she is serious or not bout the relationship.

Texting is so lame if you're having a first conversation with a woman. Dial her number and have a damn verbal conversation like we had to do prior to 2005, and if that goes well, ask her out during that conversation.
On another note, I'd like to know why women give out their numbers, you later that day send them a "Hi, it's so and so. It was very nice meeting you today at church," and they then end up ghosting you?
It definitely isn't an easy situation but the focus needs to be on doing what is truly best 🙏🏼

@@YourWingmam thank you but I believe God hates me. I was given to an abusive and horrible woman for my early years who kept me until I was too old to be adopted. Then I was homeless through my teen years (good kid, no crime or drugs). Then had to do school and university in 20 and early 30. Then build a career and improve myself. Now I’m 53 and never been on a date. Most women even at work won’t talk to me or tell me they have younger / better men available than me. I’ve never had one person love me, such a horrible life, definitely think God hates me.
