Can't blame police for anything but response times and not helping citizens. The citizens themselves have a choice to either quit being foolish or take responsibility as a whole for each other wrongdoing.
Good job, Chief Garcia and DPD. It also requires proactive citizens. We all can see that society as a whole has problems. I do believe that repeat offenses should be dealt with accordingly.
It because the city of Dallas has police officers shortage and it has to do because it a Democrat city and it has to with defunding the police and you got to have order always no matter what.
Is amazing how people talk without prove just because they have a title it will be nice to hear from residents at random to see what they think about crime being low
Better lives!? How many American super chains have invested in the hopeless areas seeking to provide jobs and investment then eventually shutter up due to extreme theft? Police engagement and investment only work when humans take personal RESPONSIBILITY. If rattling off statistics makes the Chief feel better then fine, but as a lifetime resident of 60 years, Dallas has never been been less safe, car thefts are off the charts and being invaded at the border is certainly not helping.

Dallas police officers made more money in the rank of police officer in 2007 then they do now even with the new raise inflation adjusted
