    9 yrs in, mine still good, i just changed mine for the hell of it. As a truck driver, Ford trucks are the most popular trucks that like to breakdown on the side of the road😂

    Thank you, Brian! Your experience and skills really show, you make it look like a breeze. I have a couple 20+ year old Chevys on their original water pumps, these newer ones seem to be less reliable.

      I would agree the new ones are not as reliable as the older trucks. I have a few customers running around with Chevy trucks for 500 K.

    Nice video, thanks. You mentioned that most of you coolant leaked out. Where did it leak from?

    Do you have to remove the radiator cap to drain the coolant as well?

    • @HowtoAutomotive
      @HowtoAutomotive  24 дня назад +1

      @@cdnrdz it makes it drain faster if you do

    Great job man. I have to do the same to my 2018.
    Is it normal for all the radiator coolant to leak out of the pump.
    I barely made it in my driveway and when I did I opened my hood and had fluid leaking everywhere. Is that normal when the pump goes out? I could not see at first where it was coming from but I’m guessing it was all blowing out of the broken pump. I could hear the grinding and see the wheel wobbling.
    Thanks man

    What do you use to give a customer a quote? Is it an app or website? I’m considering mobile mechanic but I don’t know what to do about giving quotes

    Chevy puts out garbage anymore. 5 years old, and the water pump goes bad. Junk. Guess its time for a Ford.

      Yes , to start with all the big and high cost ford issues.
