      bunsipod wait, what plates would you use to have a 306lb bench. Is there such a thing as a 3lb plate or something?

    • @AbsolutelyNerdy
      @AbsolutelyNerdy 7 лет назад +1

      Jack Doherty there are fancy weight clips, and microplates that go from .5lbs to 2.5lbs. Or you could go make some yourself with washers superglued together.

    • @SeanNoonan53
      @SeanNoonan53 7 лет назад

      there is such thing as fractional plates and you could just load on 305 and a .5 on each side

    Some addition to myth #2:
    Meal timing is somewhat important-ish. It does help somewhat, but most people (including me) don't think it's worth the effort to plan out your meals with perfect timing. It is also the least important thing about food: #1 is the amount of calories you eat. #2 is what those calories consist of, so the macro and micro nutrients. And finally #3 is when those calories are consumed.
    Stuff like intermittent fasting might make #3 more important, but it will always be the least important part of a healthy diet.

  • @artreyes11

    1. Consuming a FAST-ACTING protein AND carbohydrate 30 minutes post workout will start the body's recovery process immediately. This will keep your body from converting protein into stored glycogen. You want to keep your hard earned muscle and use a carb to replace your lost glycogen.
    2. Consuming enough protein frequently throughout the day will keep your body out of a catabolic state. CATABOLIC=muscle burning state.
    3. I love carbs.
    4. Crunches are stupid.
    5. Lift heavy.

  • @vidoco196
    @vidoco196 7 лет назад

    Your caloric intake isn´t more important then your micro nutriant intake you can achieve the same goals by not eating that much calories if you hit your proteins you hit your proteins

    • @nathanielstoppelman9630
      @nathanielstoppelman9630 7 лет назад

      Nazim Kenan Güngör that's not micros that's macros but if you only eat protein and nothing else you have to match your maintenance calories anyway. If you don't eat enough calories but it's mostly protein your body will use whatever fuel you give for all functions that means protein is gonna go everywhere else more important than muscles first which means less efficient recovery and you'll lose weight
