I have a love hate relationship with Shifter like it’s so good but it’s so annoying to get hit by it; however, like you said Shifter shouldn’t get hit right now with Snake-Eyes ruling the meta right now
Shifter is a necessary evil in this format to deal with a lot of decks.
Lingering floodgates that often affect only 1 player should have no place in this game

Not every dk can run it. The dks that can have a big advantage.

Fenrir to 1, too splashable, can search itself, it can banish whatever you don’t like face-down(no way to get it back), it’s a better Pankratops, it should go to 1, also, Skill drain is still one of best floodgates to play in certain decks, it can completely shut down your opponent’s deck, the cost of 1000 LP is basically nothing, it needs to be banned, in my opinion, if they errata it, it should cost 1000LP for each turn instead of just one time 1000LP to activate. I do prefer it to get banned but if they limit it I guess it’s also acceptable, at least it’s better than at 3 unlimited. Other than these 2 cards, it’s a good list.
I agree fenrir needs to go to 1 but other ppl say no cuz it's not in the top decks

I love your view on this list. Hitting snake eyes, bringing back heavy storm to 1 and putting the dragon rulers at 2 definitely makes this game better
I've said before, and it probably isn't popular opinion at all, but I wish that all generic hand traps and floodgates were ATLEAST semi-limited or preferably limited. To promote more interaction and decks that won't hit you with an Ash 3x a game or floodgates you into oblivion where you have to watch them play. Before you hate me, I used to play True Draco, so I used to be "That guy" 😂.
I agree, I would even go a step further: ban them all and instead give archetypes their own handtraps. or make them type or attribute based. stuff like edge imp scythe or herald of the orange light. to add diversity and more interesting deckbuilding.
generic handtraps that are played in every deck depending on the format is just really boring imo

I would take your list immediately, except for OSS. At this point only consistency hits to SE are simply not enough. A ban of OSS in addition to your changes and this list is perfect imo 😊

Bans Sanctifire which is only seen in Branded, but keeps Fenrir which is used in way too many decks. Banning cookie cutter cards is always a better option than banning a boss monster that's exclusive to an archetype imo.
Called by and Crossout at 2, Electrumite and Knightmare Marmaid at 1 and Armaggedon Knight and the Dragon Rulers at 3.
Tenpai is one of the newest decks, and they are getting their first support in INFO, so they wont limit anything there on this banlist, even if we can agree Summoning should be limited. Maybe next ban list
If they reprinted king calamity and remove the blocking card effects effect and add a protection effect its would be a good floating boss monster
Best list I seen so far I think the fire dragon also need to be Ban sadly because of new cards we getting the deck still be good just not tie 0 anymore

Dumb question but wasn’t baron supposed to get banned off master duel like 2-3 months ago? I remember hearing something like that but i could be wrong

People might as well quit asking KONAMI to hit Snake Eye. As long as its a lore deck with more story to tell and it's making bank for either the company or individual OTS locations, they will always prioritize that over what the peasents of YuGiOh actually want. It's kinda like how WWE treats or treated their fans the last 20 years up until the tail end of the pandemic. The louder you beg for something, the slower they are to actually give it to you or the more reluctant they are to even consider doing it. IP more than likely will be hit, Appo will definately feel the pain if not this ban list then the next one in September or later in the fall. To fix the format, just bring Ash, Oak, all OSS cards, Flamberge and Witch to 1. Then lets see how many of these "top tier" players will show how good they actually are. Look what happened to Tear when the Ishizu cards got hit, and what happened for the most part to Purrley and Kash when they got poked.
Yeah that is true I do kinda like that then I could show my gouki deck really shining however for other decks not in your idea this is just my opinion then it would leave people into a sorta rut because in matches with like branded or say other big but not crazy decks then in comparing them in this format then people would be having a hard countering them like say branded 30k dragon that is basically just one big pain in the but for me sometimes do to it's banishment effect also out of topic just asking does OSS mean snake eyes

Sanctifire isn’t toxic until you start locking with it, reviving albaz and an extra deck monster to make mirror jade isnt game breaking.

@@DarkArmedDuelist to answer your question, everyone after the puppet gets hit by called by/DD/Bystials or after their granguignol gets ashed. Also the lock isn’t as impactful or as consistent without the puppet, Ra doesn’t linger and I don’t think ido does either.
@@OgCassette "Isn't as impactful or consistent" doesn't matter. The fact it can happen at all is the issue. A non-targettable quick effect that can summon any lockout type monster to your field (Puppet, Ra, Iblee, etc.) is 100% a card that should be banned. Banning the cards it uses doesn't solve the problem. If it did, then Branded Expulsion wouldn't have been banned for the exact same reason people want Sanctifire banned.
@@vixslayer4110 so ban the locking cards if the lock is the problem, without doing that the lock will continue, I just watched a video of fiendsmith snake eyes doing the puppet lock, at what point do you face things with rationality? You ban Sanctifire and will still get puppet locked by a stronger deck, you ban the lock targets and everybody wins.

DaD, you and Silver have been preaching 3 Calls for years, but let's remind folks that when this was a 3-piece, combo decks like Dragon Link were too much defensive strength. Give the fire deck that the guy with the hot wife to leave unchecked 3 Calls to teabag duelists as a trade for consistency hits. No thanks. I Will take a second Misc and a second Red Rose Dragon instead.
Nice preds overall, but I still think Konami will keep rolling dice until fall.
Imma just say this now. There will be no ban list till after infinite forbidden. They wanna sell the set b4 they ban cards that help it.

Lets preemptively ban beatrice for the FS engine. Srry bonfire also needs to go to 1, oss needs to be banned as well other cards like IP and zealantis. Fenrir needs to go to 1 so he aint searching himself.

We have to ban beatrice as well beatrice can puppet lock.
Banning beatrice because she is abused in decks that aren't burning abyss is same cancer as banning king calamity for being abused in centurion. Nerfing already weak archetypes because their best cards are good in cancer meta decks is so disgusting for the game. Same for baronne the fleur being banned because she is abused by every synchro deck besides fleur. These cards should get an errata, instead of being banned.
Apollousa is one of those cards that's only good because how monster effect heavy the meta is. Otherwise, it's very vulnerable because it doesn't have any protection from spells or traps. The only time it is a problem, is when players make it on the opponent's turn using I:P, though, it that instance, I:P is the problem, not Apollousa. I fully believe I:P should be banned along with other generic extra deck cards that let you summon other extra deck cards on your opponent's turn; even though I really like I:P for link climbing to give whatever I go into protection from destruction. I never use it for summoning on the opponent's turn. I also just hate meta Yugioh because 99% of the time, games are won whether someone has hand traps or not.
I understand why hand traps exist, but the amount of times I get hand trapped and then my turn is over or I hand trap the opponent and they play through it like nothing happened makes me hate all hand traps.
Regarding interactive gameplay, when the goal turn 1 is to set up a bunch of negates so your opponent can't play the game on their turn or have hand traps to do the same whether you go 1st or 2nd doesn't promote positive interactive gameplay. At this point players should just get their opening hands and then turn 1 player should ask the opponent if they have any hand traps, if they do, player 1 concedes, if not player 2 concedes.
Yugioh is a weird game where without hand traps, the player going first is almost guaranteed to win due to the amount of negates they set up, whereas, with hand traps, the player going first will most likely be stopped from setting up their negates and ultimately lose unless they also have hand traps.
That is all true however it also depend on two other things like one how well did they build there and two how they shuffle it because it's no guarantee that people will get hand traps plus sometimes when I've got hand traps I've either gotten exactly what I need for negates but not anything well for my turn or gotten exactly what I need for my turn but nothing to stop the opponet

Albion The Sanctified Dragon NEEDS to be banned. Who the hell would think of a card like that??
And it will be not since it will be definitely a Chase Card for the Mega Tin not to mention that the Gimmick Puppet support come with it own Albion, so you're still getting locked with or without

Graceful Charity would be with modern Yugioh. Back then it was a down side to discard 2 cards. These days most decks totally want some cards in the gy.
