@@buddbrown6858 I think he threw this week too again by not using Mischief correctly. Alex had no business resolving ARA with Mischief set in game 2. Gage wasted the field and gy effect by shotgunning it for no reason. And in game 1 he had Marrella set and could've dumped Mischief once he saw Manju add ARA.

This series is poetic man, there's no better feeling than seeing gage get cocky and then get absolutely humilliated a few minutes later, it just keeps happening every time.
This episode was just Gage's ultimate nightmare. "Stop saying Chaos Max, he's not playing it!" Gets slapped with 2.
only cimo can not reroll when he gets bad pulls but reroll when he gets good pulls and get REWARDED for it

His pulls weren’t even good tho? 3 fluffal penguin is not anything crazy. That first opening was honestly really bad and re rolling was easily the correct choice. Thankfully cimo deduced that as well.
@@Atlantafan21 ??? 1 tiger and 2 kraken is already good enough to consider keeping, 3 penguin is the icing on the cake. his pulls *were* good, and rerolling just for an invoked package was extremely greedy and stupid. the fact that it actually paid off for him and then some is nothing short of a miracle
@@MiyaoMeow588 the penguins realistically are likely to get at least 2 of in a re roll. Invoked, especially in the long run, is far better than Fluffal. Not to mention Cimo probably knows how to play Invoked far better. If he ends up not pulling the frightfur cards in a re roll, that probably means he pulled the invoked cards he wanted. Otherwise, he probably pulled the frightfurs again instead of invoked.
Also, I’ve tested the simulator for this set 20 times and have pulled a playable invoked core 15/20 times. It’s really not that unlikely for one of them to have pulled a playable invoked core. They just both pulled really poorly their initial openings.
@Atlantafan21 20 times is not a large enough sample size for estimating the odds 100 is better, but something like 200 or 300 would be needed for an accurate estimation.

When I played incantation chaos max, I went to against marinecess. Turn 1 they went full combo even though I dropped nib on only link summons and they thought they had game till IL dropped max and simply attacked nib token who they forgot was still on field so whoops 🤭 😂
I like how Gage outlined why mischief of the gnomes was good in that matchup and proceeded to misplay with it by not holding it for the ritual spells themselves.

Is it me or should mechaba have totally banished...toadally awesome? It says "negate and if you do, banish it, so as soon as toadally hits grave to negate, we negate toadally, goes to banish, the other effect in grave never gets to trigger as far as i am aware

I can't bring myself to watch GDQ on mass anymore becuase the banning of the Jak and daxter runner which is arguably the best run they ever had, the hyper fixation on reading out DEPRESSING Messages which creates this whole awkward message where we are cheering and then a message about grandpa dying, and with the whole wokness thing like it is fine who cares let them vibe i do find it saddening to a degree when certain like top 3 runners are turned down for a 45th place runner for seemingly no reason which then results in people saying the 45th runner only got the spot due to diversity which is a silly criticism but it is also silly that a top 3 runner is not getting a spot. And lastly the crap shoot that was the BOTW run i feel bad that the runner recived the type of hate (transphobic af) but they and GDQ deserve the hate when the entire community for BOTW agreed game is too early wait till the next one especially becuase GDQ tends to prevent runs that were done in the last event and the runner did not even talk about the run during the run and talked about their journey which while valid is not the place to share on what at the time was one of the most hyped games of the decades speed run debute. It makes GDQ hard to watch imo. I will say if anyone is annoyed with GDQ or they like GDQ check out ESA it is a woulderful event focused on the charity and the speedrunning and has alot of the charm of the og GDQs being much less sterile and corporate while still being produced proffessionally
