That last duel was NOT a McDonald's Wifi DC. It was a rage quit. He accidentally activated Baseball Kid a second time in a row, forcing him to tribute the Telephon (running out of material), Maiden (making the Telephon no longer fire, and not eligible for Baseball kid), or Baseball kid (preventing him from doing damage).
Baseball kid can't tribute itself D:
the virgin "fucking up a 40 minute Gishki FTK" vs. the chad "fucking up a simple Telefon FTK"
The only way you can "rage quit" like that is if you physically disconnect your game from the internet. Otherwise it says "opponent surrendered" or "lost due to time limit". I'm not saying it's impossible, but I've fumbled hard *MANY* times and have never done that once no matter how humiliating.

Rollback for mirror force, is truly a play of all time.

Of course Quantal WOULD get the complete bozo throwing out effects on unaffected monsters without thinking, and ramming into Mirror Force TWICE, knowing FULL WELL a Rollback was milled to do it again with. With that luck it's no wonder he made it to Worlds.
i've seen josh play the deck a couple times and have to say it's not luck-every single person on ladder loves doing that shit. they simply cannot help themselves.

Everytime I see Paleo gameplay my urge to put all the traps in the game in my cardmarket basket spikes to infinity.
Then I remember I am poor and resort to Master Duel (thank God for it really)

no but really, how do you actually win with that paleo deck beyond tempting your opponent to smash their pc?
Normally you play either burn or mill traps, but given that Quantal sent the replay, the win-con of that specific deck probably was "annoy the opponent to death"
Paleo setup maybe seems weak. But majority decks in the game only ready to counter monster-based deck. Or we can say, not everyone ready for backrow matchup, the player or the deck itself. That's why Paleo can still win even with "weak" setup.
It's a backrow deck, peleos are unaffected by monsters and rollback is insane in this strategy. Combine with the fact that many players dont want to play yugioh now have to face a stall deck
Once you manage to destroy their towers monsters ,you banish their one of copies they want to recycle/reuse then they have no choice other than to scoop. Or if they want to waste more time well, they can stay longer and slowly get grinded...
When your opponent has no resources left you hit them with xyz/paleos or you go for a big link play

Doubt: I had 'junk giant' which has the condition ' if your opponent controls a level 5 or higher monster you can special summon this card(from your hand)' . It was my turn and the opponent had 'galaxy-eyes solflare dragon' and 'number 38 hope harbinger dragon titanic galaxy ' . The effect of junk giant was not activated, can anyone tell why?
Another doubt: I had lefty driver, righty driver, formula synchron and Stardust charge warrior. It was my opponent's turn and a chain occurred so I used the ability of formula synchron but I was only getting option of synchro summoning collosal fighter. I had lv10 Stardust chronicle spark dragon and lv10 Stardust warrior also lvl7 junk berserker and many more. Why was I not able to summon those?
First one - they had a link monster and an xyz. Xyz have ranks, not levels and don't count as having levels. Second - you didn't meet the summoning conditions for others. For instance, Chronicle needs a tuner synchro plus and number of non tuner synchros. You can't use monsters that aren't non tuner synchros.

Just take a look at Josh's Paleo deck and change Elemental Burst to Mirror Force, the trap that able to shuffle enemy's GY can be changed to something else, but up to you I guess

To answer your question if you haven’t found out the answer yet, all Paleo Trap Cards have the line “This card is NOT treated as a Trap.” when they get summoned as monsters. So if they get flipped face down by Daruma Karma Cannon or Book of Moon, they don’t get sent back to the spell/trap zone.
