    If you had to learn just 3 combos for neutral what would they be (1 off light punch, one off medium crouch punch, and one off heavy punch)? And if you had to learn one or two combos for punish counter what would they be? Specifically if you are a newer player?

    • @JVM-kz9lx
      @JVM-kz9lx Год назад

      The thing with Ryu is that sLP, cMP, sHP essentially give you access to all his routes, it would depend on the resources you'd want to spend. For example, out of a jab (LP) string you can drive rush cancel into another jab then follow up with bHP which give you access to most his special moves heavy variants, or you may only cancel out of the jab into heavy shoryuken to save meter.
      The go to button for punish counter is sHK, it will leave opponent on a crumple state and allow you to pick whatever combo youd like, the most simple one you can go for is sHK (PC) -> sHP -> H Shoryuken. But since you can drive rush cancel out of sHP you can just add another layer of heavy attacks, for example: sHK (PC) -> sHP xx DR -> sHK -> sHP -> H Shoryken.
