No doubt, s/he must have got more frustrated after seeing you doing a Perfect Parry on command while s/he was inconsistent. Man. Been there, still there. We can’t keep ranking Jamie on potential and tools. It has to be based on reality. He has to give up pressure to get drinks while other characters get to snowball their offense. He doesn’t become his placement on your tier list until after 2 drinks IMO.

Great review. I also had such a negative experience with the Victirx customer support. The fact that in 2024 we cant get these parts shipped internationally is insane. The modules finally came back into stock but had to use a shipping service to get them to me. Keep us posted if that dpad ever gives out. The idea that we have to pay $200 a year for controllers just to find out they don't last is infuriating.

I almost feel bad for you Machoor, if you're happy with SOYNY'S overpriced junk. This is NOT better than the PowerA fusion, Horrli Fighting Commander 4, or even the Hori Octa for fighting games. Seriously, try NON Overpriced, good fightpads.

I am an idiot and didn't think to hold the forward input for the anti Air after a fireball. I do the shortcut for a super after a DP but didn't think to use that technique for a DP

I play in pod by the name 8bitdo M30 is really good in my opinion the pad have 6 buttons in the face.

After trying A LOT of pads this year, the one I kept coming back to was the Xbox Wireless Controller (XWC). The tests I perform to see if a controller is good for fighting games is if I can do KBDs and wavedashes in Tekken easily and reliably and if diagnoal inputs aren't being missed/unintentionally pressed. I think the Edge is better than the Dualsense, but not by much which makes the $200 price tag not worth it at all. If you only play SF, it's fine, but because of the diagonals not being super accurate, I could not do KBDs accurately, so this pad was not for me. The XWC however is pretty much perfect. It's cheap, your inputs are accurate and crisp, it's the lightest controller on the market as you can take out the batteries and play wired, and it's really comfortable. The only downside is that it's not super fun to play on. You do get this satisfying clacking to the buttons and dpad, especially after you wear it down, but with membrane dpad and buttons found on other controllers there's a very smooth, light speed feeling, with the mechanical-ish dpad on the XWC there's no leeway for sloppy inputs, which is a good and/or bad thing. Because of this too, if you're coming from a membrane pad it's going to take a bit of time to get used to the stiffness and accuracy of the dpad. I would recommend every fighting game player to at least try the XWC. EDIT: Also think it would cool to mention that unlike PlayStation, Xbox has design lab where you can customize how your controller looks and what textures are used. Pretty cool.

I bought an 8bitdo, 6 face button fightpad for 30 bucks. It's amazing. I also bought an expensive all button style hitbox and barely use it for SF6.

I use dual shock 4. My issue I press between the face buttons on the right to hit both bottons for OD moves. The DS4's buttons are closer to each other and facilitate that.

I wish Sony would make a 6 button-face controller like this!

Do you use a controller to play sf6 instead of an arcade stick?

The Dualsense edge has a attachment that locks the cable in place I would try that you might have better results

I have DS edge xbox elite 1 and elite 2. My elite 1 is still working great and I had it for years the elite 2 has a built in battery and stand with charge which is really cool but as the previous comment mentioned the shoulders break easily which happened to me and I got it fixed by a friend ( he's a controller repair expert ) and told me this is the worst controller to fix and the quality is cheap for the triggers and told me up front it will break again. DS edge battery does suck but I still love it.

The only thing they gimped with the Edge is the battery. It should have been an improvement over the regular DualSense, not worse. The regular DualSense already has mid battery life as it is. At $200 the DualSense Edge should have at least 50% more battery than the standard controller especially when the Xbox controllers have more than twice the battery performance already. Even if you primarily use it hardwired... it's the principle of value.

I have DS Edge and Xbox series controller and for me personally xbox d-pad feels more accurate and more easy to use. The only thing I hate about xbox controller is its shoulder buttons, they are super cheap and easy to break.
