I think next top plus size upcyxler would be great because the issues of fit and design are important. To see how others do it would inspire me too. I might even go for it with my limited skills
I just started something too...but I'm learning from RUclips as well
And I have limited skills too...I'm buying a small sewing machine and a handheld sewing machine just to assist me but I just pretty much sew by hand

Am I the only one that experiencing feeling a bit depress because I looked so forward to this every Saturday. And now I have to go thru withdrawals. sigh
I agree. I love, love, love, seeing anything made from things that have been discarded in the first place. Then I like seeing what is in peoples imagination. It's such a different kind of enchanting feeling to see creation. I really want to watch this show consistently through the months and years. I still watch a show called Flea Market Flip. It flips furniture that is made from so many different types of pieces that have nothing to do with furniture in a lot of cases. It's a competition show too. I watch watch and rewatch that show... And then Angelina made this RUclips show that feeds my desire to see transformations from discards. The world needs to upcycle in every society and in every industry. There are things going on like turning old schools into apartment buildings and old factories into posh industrial suites. It's time for Angelina's Next Top Upscycler show to become mainstream!!!
@@honestly7393 I also like the competition shows. My favorite task on Project Runway is when they have to make a design reusing other items.
@@deniseoates7147 Yeah I like project runway too AND I like the alternative "materials: challenges. Project Runway is so brutal competition-wise. Angelina's "show" is loving, community building, encouraging and has a great way to save the planet built-in.Her show encourages people of all skill levels to create garments that are unique for themselves and she counters the objectives of fast (and wasteful) fashion. With upcycling, a lot of garments can be saved from being trashed and filling up landfills. If people upcycled more it would become more accepted and we would have less waste in the world. People would free their creativity and let it fly and uniqueness would be celebrated.
Nope. I woke up this morning, disappointed that it's over. No more early Saturday morning creativity treat! I so appreciate what Angelina and all the contestants put into their projects and making the shows. I wish there were more views! I've been telling everyone who might have a smidgen of interest.
This contest has really inspired me to reach out of my comfort zone, to create what's pleasing to ME! To see the love and appreciation for each other from the contestants is heart warming. The Jr. contest is a great idea! I am so looking forward to the next Upcycling contest and a possible TV show. You go girl! You deserve it! Congratulations to them all!

I"d love to see a challenge upcycling from coats, jackets, blazers, etc. Another idea is that the finished product must be mixed media. Thanks for this series. It is truly inspirational.
