That’s one of the best ideas I’ve ever heard of.
Well, the closest thing I know of is called shimeji. Theres a google extension version where they only appear on the browser page, but not on the desktop.
But you can right click them for actions to make them do and they can "steal".
So you can click the steal option and click on your browser page or something on the page and they'll grab it and take it off screen. So you'd just refresh the page to get it back.
The other version of shimeji can't steal, which is my favorite action. But they appear on your desktop as well and still have actions if you right click for the menu.
So you don't have to have the browser open to see them. People have made shimeji of different characters and even youtubers.
I couldn't find shimeji of Alan's stick figures though. Shimeji just aren't that popular. But if you just search "shimeji" the google extension pops up with the yellow mushroom icon.
If you want to also have the version where the shimeji appear on the desktop and not just within the browser, then you should search "shimeji-ee".
There should be some videos at least if you're confused how to add shimeji to the shimeji-ee version. Theres a lot of shimeji on Deviantart.
Also, if you hold left click on them in either version, you can pick them up and they usually have an animation for if you swing/shake them around. You can let go and they'll have a falling animation or you can throw them by just swinging your mouse fast right before letting go.
So theres that if you want to feel like Alan trying to stop his stick figures from breaking something. Heheh! ',: D
I mean, I don't know what type of AI, but that sounds like dangerous territory if they were able to get too similar to Alan's like free will.
They'd probably destroy everything. Who knows. The AI would definitely have to be limited so they can't ruin your computer or life, but that'd be crazy.
