Loving the setup mate! It was great to see you upload new stuff. Its intriguing to see the R&D that goes into your products. Hope you and your family are doing well, take care bud.
Well done Dustin and Brothers. For older blokes who are unsteady on their feet I can see a modification to have a long handle operated dual bilge. Only issue would be stop/start of water flow. Would that matter??
Mate the 6 inch version you can push with two fingers its super light you could definitely run it my hand if required its only a downward pressure and the springs push back up. The 8 needs a peg press ironically they are harder to use without water oncevthey water is loaded up they take up the strain
@@Mike-ld7wn generally we don't see alot of migration with stop starts but if you imagine you force partial migration say 3cm each time to go grab another bucket over 10 stop starts you would expect some migration half the mat
Nifty little idea I like, I would be tempted if I hadn't got a li-on 50ah battery lol. The only mod it needs is the foot pedal needs to be larger, and flatter..... I could pay my kids in chocolate/ice cream/Maccas to jump on the thing haha.
Haha classic . The foot pedal is a good size only needs to be as large as the ball of your foot really. But a seasaw for two kids i like it maybe a kid driven pump is in the works
What about those who are left handed , is there enough hose to swap around?? Just playing devils advocate ;) Pretty ingenious there hope your foot-pump is successful before the copy katters move in !!!
@@mohammednovalija haha it was mate i like to keep it real and raw. These are real tests with real problems the learning process. Funnily enough there was never enough pressure before i added the water reservoir that thing loaded up fast

That is great and I'm sure it has its place. Me, sump pump and battery or 2. Less work more fun.

@@GoldRatEngineering Thanks, does potential stop start of water flow affect the water dynamics in the cells?

@@GoldRatEngineering that was the other idea, my 9-year-old and 6 year old could easily manage the pump for a 6" sluice lol
Tap ya pan on the edge walk the gold under water up hill to make a golden smile
Good bye thighmaster hello foot pump
interesting
Who needs leg day
Yeah definitely takes some effort. Alot less than panning though and more effective
Innovation!!
Are the pumps classed as mechanical if they are sadly can not use it in NSW , Great idear but .
No mines department qld stated as they are manually powered they are legal cant imagine what they could find wrong with these
An alternative for NSW might be something like a rocker box fitted with passive water lifters, aka "dhones", on both sides.
Can you use this in NSW by law
Hello, I'm sending an e-mail, you didn't reply.
With the new laws is this legal?
100% legal
Even at glendons?or Thanes qld?
What about those who are left handed , is there enough hose to swap around??

Haha whats hands got to do with it. You can run as little or as much hose as you like
New laws will not allow this even in qld
Incorrect qld mines have already stated these are legal
How embarrassment
Did you fart?
