This looks really nice - I in love with the top of the little cupbord. Well done. Merry Christmas.

Thank you very much. And Merry Christmas to you. I love it when people say Merry Christmas instead of Happy Holidays.

Thank you for sharing this video. I learned a lot from your experience with the oil based gel stain. I have used oil based stains before, but not the gel version. The small dresser turned out very handsome!

@karenhollingsworth5180 Thank you for watching. It has been hit and miss with me and gel stain; kind of a love hate relationship. In my experience, it works well on raw wood. But it does take a long time to dry. I am working on a dresser now where I applied a tan wash to the top and then gel stain on top of that. I applied the tan wash to cover the burn thru I did on the veneer. It turned out pretty bad, very blotchy. So i sanded it all back off. Other people seem to have good results with that approach. Live and learn. Thank you again for watching and if you have any other questions, don't hesitate to ask.
