Recorded at the Cavern Club in Mathew Street, Liverpool during our 100th and last residency show in 2016.

We love this hauntingly beautiful Rolling Stones track!
A few years prior to this performance we had already recorded an acoustic version of it ( • Paint It Black - MonaL... ) but we loved adapting it back to a full-band track for our live shows.

One thing that puzzles me is that these incredible wonderful musicians only have 219k subscribers! they should be up there in the millions, We need to spread the word!! 🎸
Watching that drummer reminded me of listening to the LP in my younger days. Rather than playing "air guitar" I would always play "air drums" when this came on. That's quite the drummer you two have!
It's warms the heart to see you breathe your youthful energy into my generation's beloved rock classics. Thank you, ladies.
Drums are an important part of this song (as they are in most songs but this one especially) this drummer nailed it perfectly.

There's something intangible that draws me to these Cavern Club MLT vids. I'm beginning to believe it's the joy you couldn't hide as you performed live there. It's especially evident in the closups of Mona at the mic with her eyes closed, feeling the music you're both creating.
Yeah, I feel it too-obviously it's one of most important Beatles shrines, if not THE most important one. The Cavern is still living and breathing with the Twins rocking it up live and "propah"! I still get a major giddy buzz everytime l see them do "Drive My Car" from there!
