These twin sisters are tremendously multi talented singers and guitarists. They are a breath of fresh air to todays horrible fake automated musicians and equipment. You Go Girls keep covering those old hit songs. You all are phenomenal!
As a 60s kid who is now in his 60s, it is such a joy to listen to these lovely and superbly talented young women doing these fantastic re-creations of the Beatles and other music that I have loved for over half a century. No fireworks, no smoke, no slinky outfits, no armies of backup singers and dancers. Just extreme talent, fabulous sound, and remarkably polished and confident stage presence. And kudos as well to their excellent rhythm section; the bassist and drummer are very tight and right on the mark. Best of luck and keep making this great music!
I’m 66 and agree with you both, oh if only Well I’d still like to meet Jewel Kilcher And Jessica Simpson in person together and have blood tests done with them both if you know what I mean
I don't think this music is just teenage pop. I mean it's 55 years later and this music still does it for me, we still enjoy this stuff, and these girls, this band are great! You guys said it better than me.
I wouldn't mind some slinky outfits. One slinky outfit. Just one slinky outfit one time for one minute. Just one glimpse of a one minute one time slinky outfit.
Ladies I'm 60 years old now so you can just imagine how many times I have heard that song over the course of my life- the original version and covers I've heard it a gazillion times. And yet you amazing musicians made it new for me. You are miracle makers . God bless you and keep rockin! 😊🎼🎵🎶🎵🎶🎸🥁❤👍
After 50+ years as woman professional singer, musician (lead & harmony, electric bass , acoustic/electric guitar), arranger, songwriter, producer…and having lived thru the original bands that played these covers I have to tell you; I LOVE the MonaLisa Twins. Over-the-top stellar vocals and harmonies, interesting slight chord changes (from the originals) that not only don’t bother me, but really appeal to me. And modernize the song, and…oh yeah…ARTISTIC LICENSE!! Great arrangements, balance, and production. Rock SOLID, snapping, grooving, hand-in-a-glove-tight bass and drums. And that bright, honest, magnetic vibe of joy. 🔥 I have an aversion to crowds (unless I’m onstage - not in the crowd), and I can count on one hand, the acts that I’d actually go see in concert…and I’d go see MonaLisa Twins!!! Yowsah! Yeee haaa! Put this thru your Bluetooth speaker and it’ll sound even better. Bass, balance, and subtleties, I promise.
I thing that when you are as talented as these young ladies, you can have a lot of fun with music. I can see that the MonaLisa Twins enjoy making music together.
Deep In Beatle Country Singing A Monkees Cover.....and The FANS and Both Groups are All Singing Along in Heaven and On Earth! Brilliant Ladies As Always!!
These are beautiful covers. The fact that they cover so much of the "old" music is testimony to the fact that this music stands the test of time and has become timeless.
In a recent interview in the Parade Magazine Neil Diamond was the featured story...I’m A Believer was his first #1 as a writer and he gives great thanks to The Monkees for making it a world wide #1...he said he was able to eat for a couple weeks after that..you know how these struggling songwriters are...don’tcha girls !! Great job and Lisa your wailing toward the end was perfection...Thanks and love you 😍
Hello girls from Belgium. My husband played guitar in a little orchestra and played that song so often. Now we are old but seeing you playing I'm a beliver remembers me so good moments, thanks.
I love watching these two great young ladies. They are both natural performers. I wish that I could see them in London. Sadly , I live in the USA and with the Covid Virus, I will have to wait,
Found MonaLisa several yrs. ago. Love their twist to old songs. Wish they'd come to the US and tour. I really like that at the 22 second mark Mona looses track of where she's at and Lisa notices and turns to her and smiles from the 25-30 second mark. Just love it...
As good as the originals..MonaLisaTwins remastered these songs in their own style..making the 60s still fresh till now..with new younger fans..great job girls..ladies
Can you imagine having this much talent that these girls have, I have probably watched all of their videos and they can play all of the different instruments !
If they appeared here again in Liverpool, I would time my trip to see them, the 2 guys are great too. I was lucky enough to grow up watching lots of live music. These guys have so much energy, just naturals.
Ladies I was unaware that you like the music of the Monkees! And wow! The Cavern Club fans are singing along too! So great! I know that Mike Nesmith and Mickey Dolenz are paying attention!
Playing, or attending a show at the Cavern Club must send shock waves of electricity through the collective bodies of everyone in attendance. It even looks like the spirit of Ringo has got itself into your drummer. Thanks for sharing!
Hi Mona and Lisa .. when you play it is not just a cover .. it's as if the song is reborn with all the original emotions and added to the beauty, joy and the magic MLT touch. I loved it. I need to have the álbum about your Last gig at the Cavern Club . wow.
My brother Rick is a member of the MLT Club and he gets sssoo excited about this group that I just had to check it out to see what all the fuss is about and WOW I just have to agree the MonaLisa Twins Band is exceptional ! Well done !
FANTASTIC... thank you, M&L, for sticking with these original lyrics, which i've Loved for Lo, more than 50 years now: 'and then I saw HER face...' and Yes, kudos to Neil D.
Lisa has the true edge. her upper register vocals on this really surprised me. She needs to wail more often- would love to her her go nuts on Zeppelin's Rock 'n Roll. This proves she can handle it. Project more soul and emotion than we've come to expect. On guitar she's always a revelation- with exquisite harmonies between the two. But would love to hear her out of her comfort zone. This song started off as another pleasant entry, then shifted gear and had me sitting up.
Your stage performance is brilliant, and when you apply the MLT treatment with your wonderful harmonies and rich vocals like that, I've never heard I'm A Believer sound so great! Wow Lisa so much power and depth in your lead vocal there! Both your vocals are incomparable and your live playing guitar work is rock and roll at it's finest, so full of energy, fun and passion, like a well tuned musical powerhouse. Your whole live album is like that, that I have been lucky enough to preview since Friday over and over again exclusively at the MLT Club!
I love the Beatles I love Mona Lisa Twins. They are shawls of my tea.Thank you for being and for the music you make. Greethings from the czech republic.
My "antidote " to the pandemic in partially locked down NYC is to send great music to people that I know who need to be uplifted. Of course The MLTs are on the list . Now I'm sending you much love during the Thanksgiving weekend in the United States. I'm thankful that The MLTs are in my world. 😊❤🦃🍁🍂🍃
What do you do when the air starts to get thick, your eyelids get heavy, your soul thirsts for refreshment? Well, I watch an MLT video on RUclips, that's what I do!
Amazing. I'm Argentinian and I can't believe the good music they make. Thank you very much for your music, keep up the good work, you will go a long way. They really play too well and they were able to take this opportunity to play so well at the Cavern Club. I love you so much and long live MLT ❤💛🎸🎸🎵🎶👏👏
Well, I've been a believer in you two ladies for some time now, and this cracklin' version of this old Monkees' chestnut only confirms the wisdom of my ways!
Good on you. Your chance of getting in the rock & roll Hall of Fame is probably way better than The Monkees ever being included. They should of been inducted eons ago.
Heard these lovely ladies on Sirius XM The Beatles channel the other day. I emailed Peter Asher (From Me To You show on the channel) about these ladies and he wrote back and said he is very fond of them. Way to go. Credit from one of your covers singer (A world without Love)
As you may already be aware, "A World Without Love" was written by Paul McCartney. Peter Asher is the sisiter of Jane Asher (Paul's girlfriend and one-time fiancee). Enjoyed that. Have seen The Monkees live a couple of times (Oxford, 1989 and Bournemouth, 1997). Love your music. Brings back many childhood memories, this was always playing on the fairgrounds when I was a kid. Would love to hear more Monkies covers; Last Train to Clarkesville, Little Bit Me, Little Bit You or Not Your Stepping Stone.
I’m old enough to remember The Monkees very well. It all began as a TV show in the US that first aired in September of 1966 and ran for 2 seasons. You are right Ladies, this is The Best Place On The Internet! Wow what a way to wake up on a Sunday Morning! I'm certainly awake now😍😅 I'm certainly going to make a few purchases. 🤑👽 You certainly know how to stir ones senses with that MonaLisa Twins Magic.😍🥰 Thanks Ladies and Team MLT for all you do💛❤
We can only hope that you continue to have fun through all the hard work. Making it look like its the easiest thing in the world is, in fact, the hardest in a grueling profession like yours. We are so much the richer for having you both in our lives. Idea for Beatles cover: Things We Said Today.
Every single video of the songs that you cover or make, i love all of them! You make music better to listen, you're in 1st place of my list best musicians, together with The Beatles, congratulations for what you have build in your career through this years! Thank you for being awesome and make our days Groovy!

When you needed sunshine you got rain. We all did.
Ihonestly think they’re the best musical discovery I’ve found on the net inmany, many years.
After 50+ years as woman professional singer, musician (lead & harmony, electric bass , acoustic/electric guitar),
arranger, songwriter, producer…and having lived thru the original bands that played these covers I have to tell you;

Received my "Live at the Cavern Club." I love these old school songs. It's a return to real music for me.
I've been a Monkees fan since 8 th grade. Great job of playing the Gretsch !
( uncle Peter ha ha ) would of been proud.
These are beautiful covers. The fact that they cover so much of the "old" music is testimony to the fact that this music stands the test of time and has become timeless.
There was actually good writing back in those days and this one by Neil Diamond of course!
It must have been an honor and a thrill to play sets on that hallowed ground. You just rocked that stage and did everyone who came before proud!
So many groups do these covers, but I think the MonaLisa Twins show they really enjoy what they do...well done!
Vos reprises. de rock retro et cool , ça fait du bien...😊.
Thank you so much 💋💋🫶🙏!!!

As all good "covers" should be.

Made it thier own? They play fine but this is a straight cover, how did they make this thier own if they didn't change anything?
As good as the originals..MonaLisaTwins remastered these songs in their own style..making the 60s still fresh till now..with new younger fans..great job girls..ladies
Can you imagine having this much talent that these girls have, I have probably watched all of their videos and they can play all of the different instruments !

Never paid much attention to the Beatles, till I came across these Monalisa twins. A refreshing new atractive perspective.

What an amazing rendition! Thanks ladies. I bought the Monkees Single all those years ago,but this is WOW!!

So so good especially with Lisa growling at the end

I feel like putting this video on constant replay - it is so vibrant
Well, I've been a believer in you two ladies for some time now, and this cracklin' version of this old Monkees' chestnut only confirms the wisdom of my ways!
Always loved this song. I’ve played it myself in many bands and duos over the years. Great job and amazing venue.
Good on you. Your chance of getting in the rock & roll Hall of Fame is probably way better than The Monkees ever being included. They should of been inducted eons ago.
What I would have given to be in the Cavern that night. What a tremendous performance!! Next best thing is to pre-order this live set
Sounds great. Wonderful job on this song.
I want that Gretch. Beautiful guitar, both in looks and in tone
Heard these lovely ladies on Sirius XM The Beatles channel the other day. I emailed Peter Asher (From Me To You show on the channel) about these ladies and he wrote back and said he is very fond of them. Way to go. Credit from one of your covers singer (A world without Love)
Peter is the best! Glad you found us through the SiriusXM Beatles channel ♥
As you may already be aware, "A World Without Love" was written by Paul McCartney.
Peter Asher is the sisiter of Jane Asher (Paul's girlfriend and one-time fiancee).
John Lennon hated the song (referring to it as "another one of Paul's silly love songs"). John rejected the song and wouldn't allow it to be a "Beatles" song.

OMG! That song is sooo iconic and no wonder - the sound is cracky and you got it spot on. Thanks for sharing. I am a big fan of you ladies
You girls are so amazing! I love my classic rock, BritishInvasion and 60’s POP, and you make my music sound fresh and new. Thank you!
Wowww!!! MonaLisaTwins mania!!!
Love it love it... 72 year old 60's boy
Fantastic cover. Not a trace of doubt in my mind. 2:43, love the soaring vocal.
Their new album is super....play it in my car to and from work everyday
Absolutely fantastic! You made the song all your own while keeping the enthusiasm of the original! BRAVO!!!
Love these girls talent and energy!
I was 7 years old when that song came out, never missed a show the monkeys tour was the biggest tour of 1966 and Jimmy Hendrix opened for them!
Yes, I was at one of the six shows(Miami Beach Convention Hall) where Jimi Hendrix Experience was one of the opening acts. I was 11 years old. Historical info says the show was in July 1967. My Wife "to be" was there.
Lucky kid! .and .... Jimmy Hendrix, My God!
Lynne Randell had a few singles released in Australia a couple being Ciao Baby and Going out of my head. Born in Liverpool England the family relocated to Australia when she was about 5 years old.

@Robert Caskie Never missed a show!
Hey Mona and Lisa!
That was such a fun cover! I loved it! Great singing, great playing, great fun to watch! Thanks a bunch!
Just pre-ordered the new album. Can't wait!
Mickey Dolenz would be proud of you guys. Keep up the good work girls
Enjoyed that. Have seen The Monkees live a couple of times (Oxford, 1989 and Bournemouth, 1997). Although this a vintage performance, the energy comes through. I'm guessing one of you has discovered somebody special, and sisters have wisely slowed down enough to enjoy the moment. As a fan, love you both, and wishing you happiness for the states!
Un buen recuerdo de la segunda mitad de los 60s, no me perdía el Tv show the monkees

Love your music. Brings back many childhood memories, this was always playing on the fairgrounds when I was a kid. Would love to hear more Monkies covers; Last Train to Clarkesville, Little Bit Me, Little Bit You or Not Your Stepping Stone.
Another great song sung by the best twins ever!! Love your music!! Can't wait to watch you guys perform again once this pandemic is over.. Cheers!
Well done, ladies!!!
I’m old enough to remember The Monkees very well. It all began as a TV show in the US that first aired in September of 1966 and ran for 2 seasons. Davy Jones was cast first after a successful run as Artful Dodger in Oliver on Broadway. The other 3 were added following TV auditions. Using studio musicians from the Wrecking Crew, they recorded very successful albums. The actors got better and better until they actually could perform live as a band. After the TV show was over, they did keep the band going and releasing records, but not always with all 4 guys.
I’m a Believer was written by Neil Diamond. He recorded it himself on his 1979 album September Morn and enjoyed playing it in concerts to enthusiastic crowds.
Of the 4 Monkees members, only Micky Dolenz is still alive at age 78. Neil Diamond is 83.
I always love the energy you two bring to the stage. Nice version and great location for recording it too.
Exellent job ladies, it has all the fun and energy as the original (I remember I was 8 when it came out) such a fun song.
Thanks for making our pandemic lockdowns GROOVY!
You are right Ladies, this is The Best Place On The Internet!

We can only hope that you continue to have fun through all the hard work. Making it look like its the easiest thing in the world is, in fact, the hardest in a grueling profession like yours. We are so much the richer for having you both in our lives. Idea for Beatles cover: Things We Said Today.
Love you girls...and from my opinion, austrian girls are the best.!
Every single video of the songs that you cover or make, i love all of them! You make music better to listen, you're in 1st place of my list best musicians, together with The Beatles, congratulations for what you have build in your career through this years! Thank you for being awesome and make our days Groovy!
